I had lasik 11 years ago and absolutely loved the result. I got up adter 20-30 mins and could see the lovely assistant's name tag clearly right away. Had some drops and had to cover my eyes when I slept for a day or so. Although, I did find that my eyes were sensitive to bright lights and was wearing sunnies for a few weeks. Also, I don't know if this is as common as I think, but I have a 'halo' affect around lights at night that was there right after the surgery and continued for quite a while. I also ended up going back for a further correction to my right eye a year later. I have absolutely no regrets and my brother will be doing it also later this year. Hmm, is it a coincidence that the Google ad at the bottom of this page is for "iLASIK"? :D

The thing is, how many different ways are there of setting up the girdles and caps? They will more than likely all look very similar simply due to the block and crank specs. Also, have a look at aftermerket RB26 single t/b inlet manifold designs...most of them look very similar in design with slight differences, however, the main shape is quite common amongst almost all. It is even widely accepted and admitted that certain brands are direct copies of the original Japanese designs. In the end, the consumers will make the choice and the better quality and more reputable products will continue to sell.

No. What he is saying is that the elder members can promote the fact that an official car club and its members (irrelevent of age) are enthusiasts and NOT hoons. To the public, this will have more weight in any attempt to alter the stereotyping by the mainly elder public.
