Yeah, I recall a maroon R32 GTR running 11.4 years ago at the old Eastern Creek Raceway drag strip. Engine bay looked so stock it wasn't funny and they guy had a large crowd taking a look at the engine bay. I reall asking him what turbos and he replied "stock". This would be 10+ years ago, so an 11.4 was lightning quick back then.

I have some Work 19's that will fit your GTR, but they are staggered.

From the two GTR's that I have seen have a cast flywheel let go, both of them cut the car up bad enough to render them no longer road worthy. They certainly go off with a (big) bang.

It's an ET bracket. Ie 9.00-9.99, 10.00-10.99, 11.00-11.99. when someone refers to "running 9's" they are refferring to breaking the 10.00 bracket....Circuit racers even do it

+1 on the above. The lack of a sprung clutch will mean more savage gear changes and 3rd gear is known o be the weak link in the 5-speed GTR boxes. My cousin used to thrash the guts out of his R32, limiter launches and burnouts etc. It was only when he fitted a solid centre triple plate that the box decided to go the first time he hit it in 3rd. Put simply, solid triples+stock box = boom If you're too worried about breaking the box, Steve, I am more than happy to race it for you and if the box breaks, I will replace it with one of my spares
