  1. auto + GTR....should be fun There are a few big HP drag GTR's coming out to play soon enough ....
  2. My old Japan-spec drag engine had this done (enlarged oil returns, de-burred block, and enlarged sump) and didnt breathe a drop. No rear oil drain/breather in sight. However, it was built a few years ago (c. 2003). Having said this, we added an oil restrictor and a rear oil drain/breather (going to the the inlet side of the sump) anyway when it was rebuilt.
  3. still available. Serious offers around $3K
  4. better pics available for serious buyers.
  5. Oh, and just for reference, one of these coolers has made over 1,000kw@wheels here in Aus
  6. BB, yes...that cooler is the shiznit. As you know, I am a big Apexi fan and we were lucky to find that one. It was a forced sale mate...but all good. I'll be back bigger and better one day. Unbelievably, the crank has gone into what I was told is a fairly standard rebuild in a GTR in Victoria. But the guy paid for it, so it's his choice. PS, I have a friend who is chasing Apexi retainers for his RB26 head...
  7. Thanks BB and Trent. Yes, both these items are now sold. Best of luck with the build, Trent. This cooler is perfect for your application.
  8. Why has the question of best MPH run not been answered despite being asked a number of times?
  9. yeah, i know...doesnt mean yours won't work...some more boost will see you over 700hp...which is plenty for now...
  10. Afif, Why are you selling, man? You're set up will make more power....just add race juice and give it some boost...
  11. Yes, I am sure. HKS USA even states the r32's quickest time as being 8.454: http://www.hksusa.com/info/?id=3615 And there is a pic of it with slicks. PS, the original pic I posted (which looks like a magazine article) says "HKS GTR"
  12. Interesting pic...However, I still don't think that it was run on radials as past top ten radial-tyred 4WD/GTR lists do not list this car. I would imagine that it would have run on radials at some stage before switching to slicks. HKS themselves would have to be the people to speak to for confirmation.
  13. Just a few more points: this information wasn't "dug-up" - I just happened to come across it on the weekend and thought it was quite interesting as very very few people knew about it. It was actually posted on a website in December 2008, so it was definitely new information (despite being set back in 1995). I am sure this time was run on slicks and not radials, so both Paul and Mark's times will remain the quickest on radials. Any sub 10 second time no matter what set up is not an easy achievement and should be applauded. HKS's different approach in actually using low mounts in a drag car (and racing it in the Japan RCC drag series in 1995) and achieving such fantastic times is what should be focused on. I was completely surprised to come across it as it had never been mentioned before by anyone and such a feat deserves a lot more recognition that it obviously hasn't received.
  14. Sorry Steve, I don't have a pic without the watermark. I wonder why this car was unheard of in almost 15 years...
  15. You have the correct person. I have used Trent before and have his mobile if you need it. Where is the car registered?
  16. Sorry to dig up an old tread, but I found some interesting info: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=266192
  17. ...belongs to HKS with an 8.655 pass...and was run back in 1995 using 2540R's:
