  1. Awesome news I might start reading Zoom again....What will the new name be?
  2. I know that Al's Race Glides and MV autos can build Jatco boxes to handle some power....(will run 10's), but not too sure if they have done the Stagea boxes. Yes, will definitely have to get rid of the electronics and manualise it etc in order for it to handle the huge increase in power.
  3. Tomei....I am no longer a fan of JUN pumps. But for not much more than a Tomei pump, you could get Dirt's group buy external.
  4. Glad to see that Mark is finally releasing these to the public For anyone with big power engines, these are an excellent choice in order to avoid the dreaded RB26 Busted/Broken Oil Pump (BOP) syndrome. Yes, even the JUN pumps are prone to the BOP syndrome.
  5. everyone knows
  6. RB26 stock stroke, HKS S3 87mm pistons, 0.5mm O/S valves, HKS Pro L springs, HKS Pro L Cams, moderate porting, HKS GT2835's, custom plenum, Q45 t/b, apexi drag cooler = 411rwkw@ one bar on pump
  7. Correct. The closest thing that HKS have to a GT35R is the GT3240 (rated by HKS at 580hp), which is a GT35R with a cut-back rear wheel and 0.87 housing
  8. racing, spectating or media? Or all three?
  9. Wheels will suit all Skylines, V35's, 200sx's etc.
  10. Now willing to separate: Crank: $700 Pistons: $200 Rods: $200 Block (86mm bore): $700
  11. me too! (well, at least your car)
  12. Well done on the time What box are you using? What rev limit? I noticed that you are well into 4th over the finish line. 600awhp should see you deep into the low-10's, if not high-9's; however, your 130mph trap speed seems a little low for the power.
  13. Compare it to the expensive Jap stroker kits and it would be relatively cheap. Also, I guess if the local kit was made in significant numbers, I would imagine that the cost would be significantly lower. Custom crank, SR20 rods, custom pistons, sleeves, spacer plate, block mods to suit. Better RS ratio than an RB30 and would rev to 9K+Also, I have heard of a Sydney workshop that has used a modified RB30 (or was it an RD28?) crank in an RB26. Also, Risking have an "RB29" kit usng the RD28 crank with 87.5 pistons.
  14. I am sure that Ben from Race Pace has alerady developed a local "hi deck" 2.9L RB26 engine. See his RB29 thread. Very impressive.
  15. The rare HKS 2.8L "High-Deck" bottom ends use a spacer and longer rods (possibly SR20).
  16. Interesting. Were both turbos run on the same boost?
  17. 1 x spectating Who is competing?
  18. does this happen with more than half a tank of fuel, or only when it is low?
  19. Paul's car is looking great:
  20. What do you rev it to? Might need to use 4.4 gears in the diffs. For 550rwkw, you should be into the nines and 140+mph traps.
  21. Brett's R34 Just sold and he was asking for much more than BB's.... Maybe you should advertise it for $70K
  22. It's not just the OS Giken triple...it's any triple (or unsprung) clutch that exacerbates the shockloading on third gear and coupled with the inherent weaknss of 3rd, it is a matter of when, not if the box will let go. Further to that, how the box is treated will go a long way to maintaining its longevity. Ben, did you run the 10 using the Trust dog box? Was the car on 560rwkw? Any particular reason for the apparently low trap speed?
  23. Funny that...I spotted an orange Lambo on the M4/Woodville Rd Granville at 12:40-12:45pm
  24. Spotted a clean stock-looking R32 GTR [GTR-092] today in Blacktown
