    They "might" fit Veilside widebody GTR's....but there are only a handful of these in Australia.

    Definitely need 300awkw+ for an 11 sec 1/4. Stock boxes are like a lucky dip when it comes to drag racing.... MMulti plate clutches don't help keep them alive, plus helps if you are nice on the 2nd to 3rd gear change.

    www.bogartracingwheels.com what about weld wheels? MT ET drag wheels are about 5.5 kg each in 15 x 8", but the Bogarts are the lightest I know of (4kg each) and are about $400+ each wheel

    Autostyle Prestige and Performance cars (http://autostyle.com.au/) have these made for their R32's.

    Also, if you are using an adjustable torque split controller (like the HKS or even hydraulic one) wouldn't that negate the need for same diameter tyres? Are you also allowing for tyre growth on the rears?

    The Heat Treatments GTR was wearing 15" Dunlop slicks when it as at Jambo in Aus. Although their website currently says Goodyears on Bogart rims .

    Most of the above is great advice. I can only add this: If you cannot afford to (properly) mantain a GTR, then you cannot afford to buy one. This may include the need for an engine refresh/rebuild

    Billy, Yes they all have good second hand tyres at very good prices. Jala Tyres is at the back of the industrial units behind Crown on McRedie on McRedie Rd in Guildford West. Eagle Tyres is in Cowper St Granville (western end near the Granvile railway bridge). Black Tyres is on Railway Terrace, Yennora.

    Were are you located? There are 3 or 4 places out west that sell used tyres for very good prices: Black Tyres, Jala Tyres, Eagle Tyres, etc all in the granville to Fairfield area.

    Dont be shy Brad... The 200 hasn't run a sub-11 has it? My car's best time is 13.7.....so I'm not in any danger of upsetting the lovely WSID staff.

    No chance. 3540's are rated at 600-700hp each. The R34 N1's have a 45.5/60mm comp wheel. The 3540's have a 60/82mm comp wheel.
