  1. The throttle has a number of restrictions. 1) Under 3000rpm = max 30% throttle. 2) 1st gear = max 60% throttle. 2nd gear = max 70% throttle, 3rd gear = max 80% throttle. cheers Andy
  2. Nice shot Chris...
  3. This link may help Steve... the colour is Silver (KYO)
  4. I already had LED's on my trailer so never had a problem.
  5. It is all a balancing act.. It is about finding the right setting to suit all the other variables on your car to achieve the best balance to your driving style. Tyres, suspension and throttle input all have an influence on how your car will feel and a set up you like, if I hoped in to drive, I may not. The stiffer front is all about finding a balance point for the car.
  6. Yes, they did my M35
  7. There was a great improvement to the mid range and boost comes on about 100-200 rpm earlier.
  8. I do.. It is based on the same one that Jetwreck bought from Japan and is now installed on his car that we believe was a Dolphin dump pipe.
  9. Unfortunately not on the stock ECU. Unless you send it to Japan..
  10. Would creating a vent at back of the bonnet by timing the plastic trim on the back of the bonnet? Cheers Andy
  11. 180kph.... just remember that the speedo is about 10kmph too fast..
  12. Dust, You say that the loom plugged in and from memory you installed the F-Con IS. You said that the HKS dealer has done a tune on your car. Was this done on a Dyno? Not sure how they would tune it otherwie? Can you post some figures from the tune? Cheers Andy
  13. No, wheels spin in the wet is relatively achieved in my experience. It is only for a short time until the front increases speed and wheel spin stops. As for the Synco & Snow switch they only have effect (50/50 split) to 40kph and then it is back to demand.
  14. In the dry it is not possible to spin the rears unless going around a corner but in the WET, that is another story. I can regularly get the rears to spin in 1st mostly as the revs build through 2800 - 3300rpm and then the fronts grab and the car hauls away.
  15. Nice looking brakes and good price..
  16. I paid $300 for R32 GTR calipers (front only) plus $300 for new slotted rotors. Cheers Andy
  17. Looking good Scott...
  18. The boost controller has a Gain setting that allows you to bring the boost on earlier and faster plus a little more pressure. I am running 17psi and this gives a good launch even without stalling it up but I do know what you mean. The Impul does not change the throttle response significantly (if at all) but it does improve the fueling, remove boost cut, speed limiter and increase rev limit. As was mentioned, my best estimate is around 180kw but Spoolin's car had 215kw with basically the same mods so this could well be closer to the mark especially as I hit 100% duty cycle around 7000rpm. The issue of improving the throttle response with a remap like the Nismo ECU is that when Jetwreck had his tune done on his car (270kw) the tuner had to decrease the response of the throttle as it was too hard to work with in creating a safe tune. I don't know the answer but it is a complicated ECU.
  19. You need to get the highflow and I think the ProfecB boost controller has helped with my launch.
  20. So how much throttle do you want on launch? On a stall launch I get 35% throttle opening that see's 2600 rpm straight away and hold it for a couple of seconds and I get to 3000rpm and rear wheel spin. And release the throttle and off she goes. Cheers Andy
  21. Looks like some big power coming soon Scott...
  22. I may put the Walbro back in but need to do 2 things first, 1) use the filter fitted to the stock to the pump. (I think the filter fitted to the Walbro may be part of the problem. It is smaller and in less than 12 months has gone black) 2) Run the 12v power supply to the pump. I agree that the Walbro seems to perform better with the additional power. Especially as I have the 60lb Siemans injectors to go in with the tune.
  23. Removed the Walbro fuel pump today and reinstalled the stock fuel pump and fixed my big hesitation problem around right hand corners ...
  24. Not this Throttle Body Dale. This one has no bypass. This is why you have to clean them on a occasional basis or the car can start to stall. Cheers Andy
