  1. Had a busy day on the Stagea today... Had 4 new Falken 912 tyres fitted today and a 4 wheel alignment. Think these will be better than my cheap RV tyres.. lol Also made a little mod to the blow off valve to block off the small hole to improve boost response.
  2. Had mine done this morning also.. Really good service and are accommodating to fit into the workshop asap. Nice to see a really clean workshop. They are located in Rydalmere. Highly recommended.
  3. Had a new Drivers side front CV boot replaced... Lots of mess from the cracked one but all tidy now. Tyres are next..
  4. Did you reconnect the earth to the metal frame behind the airbag? When the stereo control is added the 2 earths are joined.
  5. did some one spill a drink out of the center console cup holder while demoing the insane POWER...
  6. Got mine today, Thanks Steve for organizing.
  7. How are you guys running your Trans cooler? 1) Through the Radiator and then the Trans cooler or 2) Through the Trans cooler and then the radiator. I ask, as I have seen a very good argument put forward a while back that by doing it the 2nd way the trans is up to the correct operating temp sooner when cold and is not prone to being too cool as it is regulated by the motor temperature. I am using the 1st method but wonder if the 2nd method has more merit. Cheers Andy
  8. To check the air con drain pipe, the first question is do you get a puddle of water behind the passenger side front wheel when you park after using the air con. This is the normal thing. The drain comes down just behind the passenger wheel. see if you can find the drain line and see if water is coming out. You could try puttting a wire back up the pipe to see if you can clear any blockage but I can not see why it would have a blockage. I think a split line is more likely. In side the car you will need to remove the glove box and then you have access to the aircon unit. I have not seen the drain line but it is in behind the unit so it should be reasonable easy to find. Iain has pulled this part out so he may have some feed back.
  9. It sounds like the Air Con drain pipe may be blocked as it is on the passenger side.
  10. It looks like the device that the aftermarket ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) fitted to the car. The factory one is fitted in the passenger glove box closest to the center of the car. If you have an aftermarket one it is usually fitted under the dash on the drivers side. It has a wide slot that will fit a credit card.
  11. +1 Good to meet some new people and see the regulars again...
  12. I actually took my car to Nissan Hornsby to get the part and replaced it for me. You should only need to replace the faulty one. Most Nissan dealers are reasonably helpful with sourcing solution. Just tell them it is an import and have your VIN handy. I can certainly vouch for Nissan dealers at Brookvale & Hornsby being very helpful. Cheers Andy
  13. Brad, another thing to look at is your ignition barrel. I had a bad connection in the ignition barrel so that all the accessories would turn off at random times. Turned out to be a bad connection on the barrel so that if the key moved slightly power would be cut. Cheers Andy
  14. Brett, I think Scott in Melbourne fitted one of these to his car and there were a few fitting issues. If memory serves correctly there was a bit of trimming to be done to make this fit. Cheers Andy
  15. You can replace the top tank. I believe the part is about $120 plus labor. Otherwise some of the other guys have opted for new radiators from ebay but these have required some modification to fit. Good luck. Cheers Andy
  16. Nice find on those racks. They look great.
  17. I highflowed the stock turbo to a Sierra Stage 1 kit and that netted a gain of approx 14% over the stock turbo..
  18. I put my sway bars on my ARX before I replaced the suspension and the result was a car that was far firmer in suspension than the horrible worn out wallowing ones I had on. It was now more comfortable making the shock maybe 10% stiffer. I don't think you will be disappointing with the improvement. Cheers Andy
  19. Highly recommend North Shore Prestige..
  20. Not a problem.. I will arrange the transfer. Cheers Andy
  21. Just read the optus terms for the Tab. Data in 10mb increments and has to be used in 3 months ...
  22. That is a FUN moment when the car stalls at 60km/h...... lol requires a bit of focus to sort it quickly.
  23. cost was about $280 from Japan... if you are interested I can see if they have more?
  24. mmmm 3mm you say Scott.......... Now if only I could remember what the random drill i used to drill mine out? I think it was more like 5mm I did on mine...
