  1. It is funny how ofter we hear people being told porkys about the M35. I had stock turbo, stock ECU and special dump pipe and 3inch exhaust from the dump back with high flow cat. And the car runs beautifully. It won't make the car any more economical but you will gain some more power and pick up. Cheers Andy
  2. Hi Leon the 4WD light only comes on in the process of starting my car. It goes off as soon as it starts and does not turn on again, not even with the Snow or Syncro modes engaged. Sounds like you may have a device to split the drive front to rear. Cheers Andy
  3. Not a problem Leon. Happy to help.
  4. Hi Leon As another option, Chris Rogers is able to wire in directly to the OEM tuner a reverse camera that switches on when reverse is selected. Whilst the Asuka tuner has the input for the reverse camera, it is not automatic when selecting reverse as you have to select the TV option to see the camera. Cheers Andy
  5. I have these ones... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-Fender-C...sQ5fAccessories
  6. Don't do it Ben. .. I will have to take you for that drive soon.. Cheers Andy
  7. The factory antenna on the V35 will not work with an aftermarket tuner. They can be made to work on the M35 but on the V35 you need to install aftermarket antenna. I have a set available if you are interested. Send me a PM if you are interested. These are the ones supplied with the Asuka units. They can fitted in your bumpers or in the top of the front and back windscreens. Cheers Andy
  8. Why did you have the Vaso Cam..?
  9. GOD.... I never turn my AC off...lol
  10. Congrats on the purchase and welcome. Cheers Andy
  11. Yes, you are all right... If it is 2WD the V35 bars will fit. It is only the front diff in the 4WD M35's that creates the difference between the bars. Cheers Andy
  12. But they are the LAW.... They can do what ever they want..
  13. Hi Mike I don't have a V35, but I do have a M35 with the VQ25DET. I do most of my own servicing on my car a few things you should note. 1) Spark plugs: generally the VQ motors will have the Platinum or Irridium tipped spark plugs and should only requiring changing every 80'000km. 2) Radiator: If you flush the radiator be aware that it is really easy to get an air lock in the VQ block. It will take a while to bleed all the air out. 3) Fuel Filter: I believe the V35 has the same fuel system as the M35 which means your fuel filter is built into the fuel tank and is a little bit of a pain to change. Be sure you want to do this before you take this job on. I get a lot of my servicing bits from performance Lube. very good prices. http://www.performancelub.com/index.htm Good luck with your service. It really is generally a very easy job on these motors. Cheers Andy
  14. Hi Dunc Nice job. That is the same spot I put mine. You should be able to tuck the cable up next to the main console next to the air vent. I managed to bend my mounting pad so it sits flat on the curved surface. Cheers Andy
  15. don't fight over it boys.... lol
  16. mine had the recall sticker and still got another faulty Cam angle sensor. You will know it is really bad when the motor shuts down on you at 80kph... not the most fun.
  17. nope.. all done under the car. remove the hollow factory ones and replace new ones.
  18. I don't know if I can answer this as you are looking for but when I got my ARX the suspension was very soft and the car was wallowing and steering from the rear when going through dips. I replaced the sway bars (adjustable) first and this gave a couple of benefits. 1) Removed roll oversteer and made the car more secure on the road. 2) Allowed me to balance the car on the throttle better. Able to improve liftoff oversteer (ie, bring the nose back in when hitting understeer) Hope this helps your decision. Cheers Andy
  19. Yes, You are correct.. I think Cam is referring to adding an Emanage or something similar to produce a more efficient result that should be tunable to 190kw on the stock injectors.
  20. I have the swaybars + the Bilstein shocks and my wife does not think my car is too bumpy and she is not into me doing any changes to my car at all. The Swaybars will firm it up but not so the ride becomes choppy.
  21. Yup,, plug and play. They can not be tuned. Import monster is a good starting point.
  22. what are you after? and I can check.
  23. lots of fun in the wet Iain especially at the roundabout just down the road from your place. I just have to remember that I have a LSD and my car understeers in the wet when I lift off.
  24. I just got an email from my contact in Japan who can once again get me some informeter's at a very good price. (sorry Dunc & Dale) let me know if anyone is after one? Cheers Andy
