  1. what do you mean "would have been". LOL
  2. but still recovering. So is this at the auctions now?
  3. I did 3000km around VIC and never saw another Stag
  4. this practice is just wrong and these dealers need to be taken on when caught out.
  5. Scotty forgets to mention that his car is the currenlty (lol) the most powerful M35 in the country. For those with a relatively unmodified car the results are a bit better. My car has a few mods which are mostly to do with suspension and brakes but on the engine side I have replaced the exhaust from the turbo back with a full 3" system and fitted a 16mm plenum spacer (really helps smooth out performance and improves economy on light throttle) and HDI intercooler. City driving I get 13.5 - 14.3L / 100km (this is lots of hills and stop start traffic) Highway Driving. I just did a 3500 km trip around VIC and with 4 people and a full boot and each tank was between 10.1 - 10.6L/100km. This is for the ARX and the RX & RS are a little more economical as they are 17 inch wheels and slightly lighter. these are real number that you can achieve. If you want to really push it all the time then expect higher numbers. Cheers Andy
  6. That should be ready around July. Cheers Andy
  7. No news on the V36 yet. I would expect it will be in the second half of the year. Cheers And
  8. Can't believe you did not put one aside for your self........
  9. will be interested to hear you comments on how you find the exhaust inside the car as that is a pretty small middle muffler. But it does look nice.
  10. it is the turbo as it gets older. It gets louder the older (more worn out) the turbo is. It only makes this noise under positive boost. Cheers Andy
  11. It all comes down to the type of road you are driving on and how constant you can keep the speed. Just near the end of my Easter road tour around Vic and a few thousand k's later I can see how the car behaves on different road conditions and how the car responds. Using cruise control on the Hwy set at 2km/h above legal limit (damn VIC police) and got between 10.4 - 10.1L/100km per tank. During the prolonged Hwy cruising I could see the exhaust gas temp rise to between 500 - 600c at around 2000rpm. Which indicates the ECU leans out the motor at this sort of light throttle input and road speed. Once back in the hills the car would average 12.3 - 12.8L/100km and the exhaust temp would be lower 400 - 500c until on the throttle and would peak at around 700c but mostly around the 500c mark. But I love this car driving on windy roads. Cheers Andy
  12. Hi Eric Sorry nothing I can do about the UK. I am only looking after Oz. All I know is that it is still under development to work out if it is a viable opportunity. Cheers Andy
  13. You can reset it your self. Do a search for check engine light in the Vseries and stagea sections.
  14. gerry, time for the language conversion and all this will be solved because you will see the message in English. I would guess that you have selected the display to turn off. From memory you need to select the bottom left button then scroll down to the second selection down. This should turn this feature off. (I think) Cheers Andy
  15. I have not seen what he developed but he fitted a 3 inch dump pipe to Danny's car when he did the exhaust. I don't know that he can make them up without the car for a day. Cheers Andy
  16. All the pref fabed ones are out of Japan. The Legalis is one of the more popular ones around. Mine is a 3 inch from the turbo back with a 3 inch dump pipe which flows very well and is not too noisy. Mine was made to the car by Charleston Exhaust in Blacktown, Sydney. He does need the car for a day but it s avey good install that delivers performance but with out all the drone of some exhausts. Cheers Andy
  17. I just did the drive from Sydney to Albury last night and this morning. I started the trip having driven about 150km around Sydney and with economy of 14.7L/100km. When I got on the freeway, I set the cruise control on a real 113km/h speed (indicated 120km/h). Did not think I would make it to Albury on this tanks but ended up with 10.4L/100km and made it with 8 liters left in the tank. The car was loaded with 2 adults + 2 children + a boot full of clothes and belongings. Not a bad result and significanlty better than the last trip with 2 bikes on the roof. (13.6L/100km) Maybe the spacer has a bit to do with the improvement....
  18. Hi Eric Send a PM to SAU member "Saihaynes". He is preparing the information on the UK for the developer and can tell you when it will be available. Cheers andy
  19. there is someone in the UK doing the installs now. I will get you some contact details.
  20. Watch out for those hoon laws Scottie, don't want them saying you were doing a burn out........ all 4.....lol ( )
  21. there is a Japanese service manual, just waiting for the translation and the pdf.
  22. Well done Scottie, I look forward to hearing how the 1/4 mile run or the dyno run goes. Cheers Andy
  23. I am not sure if the that harness is the same as ours. I know that the 2 wires that the override modules work on are 3 from the edge of the harness plug and not on the edge. This may be correct but I am basing this on the override switches I have seen. I used power from the cigarette lighter (accessory power) for the main power (yellow if I remember right) and the red goes to the relay and then connects back to the same power source. This is on a M35 as we use the relay to turn on the inbuilt ariels when the TV tuner is turned on. Hope that helps. Cheers Andy
  24. Contact Bis-e Bee. I believe he has a few copies ready to send out.
  25. Hi Jason Sorry, whilst it looks similar the system is different and our conversion system will not work on your car. Cheers Andy
