  1. I hate to say I told you so Scottie....LOL
  2. my light always comes on with 50km to go out of the tank, based on the fuel usage screen. It usually takes 60-65 litres at this stage.
  3. perhaps it is more to do with how many are written of V's how many are insured? That is the difficulty of owning an unusual (less volume) car like the Stagea. I have certainly read about a few C34 and a few M35 that have turned up at the auctions as insurance write offs.
  4. may be just get up to 80c but I would not think more.
  5. don't knock the M35 or we'll have ya............LOL great meet guys... well done.
  6. it is just above your left foot when sitting in the drivers seat.
  7. It looks like a transplant from the V35. And yes that is the standard location for the handbrake.
  8. +1 I have one on my car and it really is unnecessary. Should have saved the $100 on the alarm install. Just make sure you change oil about every 7000km to help preserve the turbo.
  9. there may be better but at a price. Chook does the best price on this unit and it is easy to install in a M35.
  10. Hi Simon The 2 you saw on Friday were both ARX's and they have a tan Nisleather trim. (I think that is code for slightly recycled leather). The PM35 is a great option the motor is very similar to the V35 you know already and the interior is a little more contemporary. Cheers Andy
  11. good pick up Iain,,, It has the Pokemon eye's........ That dash does not look quite right for a PM35 either.......
  12. you may be right but let me know when you find one........... you will have found the proverbial "hens tooth"
  13. that would be very niceeeeeee....
  14. I recon that would be really difficult to tow it behind you car as you don't have a tow bar.......LOL
  15. Thought about it but even with the bilstein kit and a trailer on the back it does not sit too low. It should be possible because of the separate spring mounting on the rear. Cheers Andy
  16. I would think the 3 month statutory warranty should cover you for the removal and rebuild of the turbo. I would be making a bit of a fuss if they try to back away from it. To get the turbo out it will take a few hours, you will wont to unbolt the tail shaft from the gearbox and loosen the cross member holding the gearbox to get better access but it is still damn tight. (don't forget to loosen the air box before doing this) As far as I understand the tires should have been replaced with compliance and I am reasonably sure Snow Tires would not be acceptable tires to have on your car for compliance. Good luck. Cheers andy
  17. True...... But the challenge is can you articulate what it is about your favorite car that makes it the best. Are you objective enough to acknowledge the shortcomings of the same car because no car or wagon is perfect, they are all a compromise. It is dead easy to slag off the cars you do not like but takes a lot more thought to really understand the strengths and weakness of your favorite.
  18. BECAUSE it is meant to get people talking about what is GOOD abut their car. Unfortunatly it seems many people have no idea about what is good about their own car and can only make stupid statements about the other being worse..............I love this thread as it makes people think hard about their own car.
  19. it refers to material that is a composite of resin and almost any other material and is set with heat and pressure. Makes it very durable and extremely heat resistant. we should be able to post up pricing next week. Cheers Andy
  20. Are you saying Blitz and alike make the core solely for the M35? I thought they were using there standard size coolers just adapting the piping as required. (same thing HDI did) I know ARC have one that has a core made for the M35 but that is the only one I have seen like that.
  21. That GTR would be a nice conversion but you want to be sure you have the performance to go with it. The car they did this conversion on was not the turbo version. Nothing worse that a car that is all dressed up like a weapon and goes no better than a Mazda 121. Mmmmm Once we get this ECU sorted it would be worth the money if you like that look. I like the old volvo.....and it would deprive my kids hours of jokes about driving a volvo...LOL
  22. Enlighten us Iain...... Wouldn't you buy the best performing intercooler that fits the car and your budget. I know the Blitz one is now available in Oz but it has worse flow rates, what would be the benifit?
  23. I'll bring the knives Nick......................................
