  1. mine is stainless and all OK so far
  2. Great Stuff Nigel.
  3. Most of the highflowed M35's in Sydney have been the 3071 (76 exhaust & 71mm compressor) It took a lot of questions and pushing to get this size made but it is definitely a 76 exhaust and the compressor is smaller than a 71mm so we are confident the turbo builder has made a 60mm opening. The stock M35 turbo is too big to use any 28turbo parts.
  4. It is a 76mm exhaust and a 60mm compressor wheel. It was a new one to us also. Not sure on the power put.
  5. I would guess that it is a different rolling diameter and is not doing the 4WD system any good. Get the tire fixed and put back on
  6. Fitted my "IAMHE77" M35 spacer special today. The process is very simple and and requires a bit of dissembling of the motor but should be about a 3 hour job for those not sure what they are doing and if you are really good with a spanner, about 2 1/2 hours. Net result is that the car definitely feels like it has more torque and on my car with the stock turbo felt a little stronger towards 6000 rpm. I am not sure about fuel economy improvements. It is hold each gear much longer without kicking down which is a big improvement. Thanks Cam Andy
  7. Probably not necessary is this topic is sticky and all the installers are in my signature.
  8. I have some one in mind. I will get the ball rolling this weekend and see we can be up and running by mid week. Cheer Andy
  9. Hi Fraser It was my PM, Not Chris, any way. I don't really mind but yes, you are probably right. An Audio installer would be good. If you could send me some contact details that would be great. Cheers Andy
  10. Do a search as I am sure it is covered but Thule in Sydney have a solution.
  11. I can tell you the M35 is the ideal car for a family of 4 and long trips. The boot is massive, the rear seats have lots of room and the front is also very roomy. I also have an Outback and the M35 is far more comfortable and faster for long and short trips. I went 1 step further and got the DVD headrests for the front seats and my kids have never been quieter on a 6 hour trip. I have cruise control on my car and I got great fuel economy on all my trips using the cruise (@117kmh indicated). I got 11.6L/100km on the way to Albury(loaded up with 2 bikes on the roof). On the way back got 11.8L/100 and then I went to Foster and got 11.2L/100 pulling a 7x4 high sided trailer. So economy is great. Servicing is great and very simple and the 100k service is not that major as not timing belt to change. As said before, go and drive them both and you will see what you can get. If you can get down to Sydney, go have a look at the North Shore Prestige as he now also has the more recent M35's including the 3.5 NA stagea's.
  12. yes, quite possible. That is what happened on my Fronts
  13. Probably the WEAR INDICATORS on the rear pads. Pull the wheels off and check them, you may have more life in the pad. The wear indicators can be bent forward or back to start scraping at different thickness of pad. Cheers Andy
  14. You need to get the Input cable that gives you the 3 RCA plugs. Chris Rogers sells these locally or IM if you want to wait and not much difference in price by the time you pay freight. This plugs into the OEM TV tuner which in the V35 I believe is under the floor in the boot on the passenger side. So are you fitting a remote GPS that sits some where out of the way and will be controlled by remote and show on your AUX setting? Cheers Andy
  15. Where did that damn CAT go..........
  16. I disagree Rianto, the TV tuner is one of the best mods I did. I always listen to the news on the way home and other programs. And the kids love it in the back seats also.
  17. The K&N is maybe a little better but the I am sure the basics are with 1-2% as good.
  18. Our language conversion only covers cars to early 2004 at the moment. We are working on later model V35's but it would be mid this year before it will be ready. Not sure about the rest.
  19. Looks good Glenn. Nice work on the exhaust. Looks to be sitting nice and close to the body. The intake loos good. mmmmm We just need to show you how to get a little more air in the front and open up the air box. Cheers Andy
  20. where has Beau gone?
  21. Spotted a Blue M35 RX/RS on Archer St Chatswood at 11am this morning. Pretty sure it BBenny.
  22. yep, from the same guys. the design is inspired by the Dolphin dump from Japan.
  23. I have one of these on my car and I got a lot more mid range power with the fitment of this dump pipe. A very happy customer. Cheers Andy
  24. Hi Gyian Sorry for this problem. I am just checking with the developer what he wants me to do but we will sort out the problem and most likely reinstall the conversion. I will get back to you later today when I hear back from him. Cheers Andy
  25. where are the pics. :-)
