  1. He has been on this list for a long time.......LOL
  2. thanks Brad, Give me a few days and I will get back to you about this. Cheers Andy
  3. You can see how it is in it's worst form from the image. As you get better economy the coloring of the leaf fades to grey to correspond the the fuel consumption. ie: if you were getting 15L/100, the leaf would be grey above this point and green below the 15L mark. Cheers Andy
  4. Sorry, Just realised a posted the wrong image of the FM page.
  5. ETC = Electronic Toll Collection FM = not 100% what this is used for. Chris Rogers may be able to explain it VICS = Vehicle Information Control System. This gives information about traffic to the Navi system. Navi = Navigation system I believe this is what they do.
  6. The pop up warnings all come up in English, like the hand brake warning or the the Yellow box that comes up on the TV when you turn the ignition off. The bits of japanese at the bottom of the screen are the sort of proofing that I am doing over the next 2 weeks. I am that these are corrected if possible. those bits of text are explanations on the selection on the screen. I have sent you an email as discussed. cheers Andy
  7. OK.....You have asked for pics so here is what I have been able to put together tonight. The pictures are of the following. 1) Main menu 2) VICS 3) FM 4) Compass & Altitude 5) Fuel Consumption 6) Ave fuel consumption 7) Trip Computer 8) Service information 9) Service detail page (one of 4) 10) ETC These will give you a good idea of what you will get. There are some more menu's in behind these but bear in mind that the following sections do not function in Australia. VICS, FM, ETC & Navigation. The real benefit is that on a daily basis all the information you are looking at and using are in English and this is easier to read on the fly and adds to the resale of you car should you decide to sell. Cheers Andy
  8. This is a hard question to answer as I don't know what you have worked out. But I can say that there are no new screens that now function because they are in English. They all still work in the same way as they did before but it is much easier to get the most from them as you don't have to remember every line of each menu. The FM, VICS, Navigation & ETC still do nothing in Australia as we do not have compatible systems in Australia. I am about to post some pics and explanation. Cheers Andy
  9. Stephen there is light at the end of the tunnel. The developer has told me that now he has finished this project the 2004 models are now in his sights. He is hopeful that the development time is wayyyyyyy shorter than this first version. AND hurry up and get your self a V35/6......... LOL Cheers Andy
  10. yeah yeah yeah......blah blah. I have had all this and more over the last 2 years of getting this finalised. Be patient. Pictures are coming. I have a full time business to run plus a family so they will be up soon. Probably tonight. The change of L/100km has no effect on working out how far to go on your tank. That is a separate read out below the L/100km. (maybe this is not clear as it is in Japanese) I understand that Prestige have sent out an email say it can be done. All installs will be done by the state based appointed installer. These installs can not commence till around the 10th December. I will post the contact details for each installer over the next 2 days. I am working on a group buy for the SAU members but I will give you some more details in the next few days. I certailnly understand the comments that you don't need the english translation now as you are used to it, that is your call and I have no problem what you decide to do. Cheers Andy
  11. great work guys. I love the innovation. Watching for the kit.... Cheers Andy
  12. nothing confirmed yet but we will be working on it soon. Cheers Andy
  13. +1 on find the pot hole, take a photo and send it with your claim to the responsible council. I know my dad got a council to pay for a new whee on his car and that was years ago. So probably even more likley to be able to get the council to take responsibility for their negligence. GL Andy
  14. Keep an eye on North Shoe Prestige. IMO the best dealer of M35's in Sydney. No bullshit, know what they are talking about, give quality back up and quality cars. I think they may have sold out at the moment but I am sure they will have some good ones soon. http://www.northshoreprestige.com.au/ Cheers Andy
  15. the conversion should be ready around the 10th December. I did the first conversion to my own car yesterday and all looks good. I will be checking all the pages and functions over the next 3 weeks and then we should be ready to offer this product to any one interested. Keep an eye on this thread. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/So...html&st=520 Cheers Andy
  16. Update: I have now converted my system to English. I will be evaluating the system over the next 3 weeks to ensure all the pages work in an optimum manner. I will post some more details of the pages to be converted soon. We hope to be ready to go around the 10th December. Cheers Andy
  17. Try you Nissan dealer or put on an alarm which can open your doors
  18. mmmm, maybe , maybe not. There are Key Codes for the transponders that are programed in the Body Control Module that control the security of the car door locks. You may be able to get it reprogrammed but you need to know the Key code of the transponder, these are usually stamped on an aluminium tab that would be hanging on your key ring. Cheers Andy
  19. It is in the boot. On the right side is a small hatch on the side wall (similar to the one on the left). To get to the attesa bottle you need to remove the front cover and the whole side compartment (black plastic inset). To remove this it is easiest done with a small (thin) screwdriver or similar. There are latches in the top corners of this inset box. By pressing down on the top of them you will be able to pull the box out. You will the see the Attesa bottle. Good luck Andy
  20. Hi Guys A quick update on where we are at with the launch of this Language conversion. I am expecting to do the first install in my 2003 M35 next week. I will then be testing the conversion for the next 2 weeks and advising the developer of my findings. This is to minimize the risk of errors during this early phase. This should hopefully have us ready to start installing in December. I am sorry for saying we are ready to go in November but it has turned out not to be possible. Thanks for your patience on this matter. I will try to post up some pricing later this week once I have locked in the few final details. Cheers Andy
  21. You mean R35 wheels I think.
  22. probably has more to do that it is locking the center diff and causing some binding(windup) of the diffs. It is probably releasing this windup as you turn off the car and it releases the diff lock.
  23. Cam, you ought to put and exhaust gas temperature probe in your exhaust to make sure you do not lean out tooooo much. I am looking forward to seeing the details of your mod.
  24. Spotted a Silver S2 at DeeWhy this afternoon. We both gave a wave as we passed slowly bye.
  25. I believe i will have it available to me be before the end of this month, but I have been a bit busy the last week to push it along. I will try to finalize some details later tonight. Rianto (RS73) has said he would like to do this in Victoria. I will be giving him some more details in the next few days. Cheers Andy
