  1. Is that why you are going bald? wish I could blame my hair on a sunroof. LOL
  2. I think the seats look dirty because of the shade in the shot. I thought the same thing at first and then had a look again and they seamed ok. With the compliance, if you can get them to use North Shore Prestige as he does a very good job. I recently saw a M35 complied by one company, and when they put in the mounts for the baby seats, they drilled straight through the car to the outside and used a bracket on the outside of the car. It is not easily visible as it is hidden by the dust cover at the top of the tail gate but it leaked lots of water and looked very poor. To top it off they mounted the brackets on the removable trim at the top of the boot opening and put these huge holes through the plastic cover and it cracked when they tightened them up. It was the worst compliance job I have seen and ruined a really well specked car. North Shore Prestige put the baby seat mounts in front of this trim and it is very neat. Good luck.
  3. Hi Wil I would love to help but I don't have any time available at the moment to inspect it for you. I am not sure NRMA do inspections any more. I used Road Check to do my inspection but it is hard for these companies that do not know the car to do the inspection. I think you are on the right path here if you can find someone in Sydney to inspect it for you as long as they are aware of all the potential problems on a M35. Check - turbo performance. - radio/cd function. (very expensive to repair if the CD fails) - suspension is known to get soft with low k's but I believe the Axis is much better on suspension. The rest of the inspection is relatively minor but they look to see that the factory recalls were carried out (shown by small silver stickers on the right wheel arch under the bonnet) Hope this helps. Cheers Andy
  4. Hi William I am 6'3.5" and my ARX has no sunroof and no problem with height. Jetwreck has the sunroof and he is at least 6'1" and he has no problem with the sunroof. I have been in his car many times with comfort. Your head will get closer to the roof lining but it should not be a problem if the seat is at the lowest height. Cheers Andy
  5. got mine today, wahoo. Now just got to fit it.
  6. you were off on your romantic getaway. LOL
  7. I'm getting one. Picking it up next week. Cheers Andy
  8. So I suppose but that rational the R35 with its VR engine and no recognition of being a Skyline should not be on here either. I never realized by allowing other performance Nissan's a site, it was hurting your poor little ego. You must have been put to shame on the raod by a M35 for you to feel so inadequate.
  9. Ahhh..... If you don't like the idea of Stagea's on this web site why are you reading about them..? So by your idea's all Nissan's that are not skyline's should not be on this web site. I am glad the administrators of this site are not as narrow minded as you.
  10. Just a meeting to distribute your handy work. We would have loved it if you hand delivered them. LOL
  11. Spotted 2 M35 Stagea's tonight. One fully sick black one with black wheels and go fast stripes (fully riced) hi Craig and One gold beast with 20 inch wheels and Carbon go fast bits. hi Danny both sounding nice and going just as well.
  12. First thing I did was check the Junk folder. No joy, bastards.
  13. I have seen this before but I do not know the solution. I would guess that you may have had a look through some of the menus and may have changed some of the settings. sorry, I don't know the way to fix it. Cheers Andy
  14. I did the survey yesterday and have not received a confirmation email. WTF. Never got the bloody Nulon chamois either. Looks like there are now 2 brands I will never buy as they have scammed me for information.
  15. So if the emanage is not controlling the throttle and you are only getting 1/4 throttle to 3000rpm, would an aftermarket throttle controller make a difference? Cheers Andy
  16. There is not much room around the back of the turbo. It is mean to be very hard to get in there but you should be able to get the dump off without removing the engine. I have done roughly the same with my exhaust, dump pipe back 3 inch exhaust with high flow cat and 2 mufflers. My car got a little quieter in the 2 weeks after the exhaust was fited (or I got used to the noise). I have not had anything like you have explained in the higher rpm. Is the car idling correctly (ie, between 600-700rpm), do you know what your max boost is? Have you got an oiled air filter? Sometimes the oil from the filter can get on the MAF sensor and give a bad reading. So many things it could be. Good luck sorting it out Cheers Andy
  17. Most of the aftermarket suspension for the M35 stagea with an adjustable height is done through a threaded section at the base of the spring. Have a look on the base of the spring. Cheers Andy
  18. Great thread. Thanks for posting this information. Cheers Andy
  19. Give Roof Rack City, in Artarmon (Sydney) at call and ask them the model number for the Thule rack. They will tell you who to visit in Melbourne as they are the importer of Thule for Australia. Cheers Andy
  20. And a price please? They must know what they are going to charge if they are fitting one.
  21. Looks like a nice ride. Cheers Andy
  22. Do you guys get an indicator on your dash that you are in Snow or Synchro mode? On the M35 you get the 4 wheel symbol with the drive shafts linking them to show you are in either mode.
  23. the numbers on the Poll for M35's in Melbourne are a bit weak. Where are the rest of the guys down there.
  24. any work at Which place?
  25. Iain, have you got Shares in IM? LOL
