  1. so far the M35 is out numbering the C34's. Yeah
  2. Looks great Danny. That's one in your face boost gauge. Cheers Andy
  3. What is the silver disc on the bottom of your A-Piller? Looks like it may be a tweeter with a custom surround.
  4. nice looking car. I love the leather interior in mine but everyone who has driven the cloth trim cars say the seats are more comfortable and supportive.
  5. Just remember that if you want to upgrade the brakes you need to leave quite a bit of clearance. I think most people with upgraded brakes have +36 offset to clear the calipers. But the wheels look great.
  6. Congrats on the purchase. Now the fun begins..... Cheers Andy
  7. I'll be in if I am available. I know I can't do the weekends of 12/13 September or 10/11 October. Cheers Andy
  8. Yes, The cone. I will wait for the HDI unit I think and see what it looks like.
  9. From what I read it was a prototype and he seemed happy but in the end does get a full rebuild using 35 pistons and cranks etc chasing more power. It is additive. I was just reading about the replacing the intake before the throttle body and he talks about more consistency in boost and better throttle response. hmmm. so much to do and so little budget.
  10. You can click on a lot of the photo's and go to more specific information. This is the section where he fits the 20mm spacer to the block. From what I can work out he does not change any of the internals at this stage. http://66.102.11.132/translate_c?hl=en&amp...j5h2ecmEQpcR5uA
  11. Did you see the part where he installed a 20mm spacer at the top of the cylinders to increase the capacity to 3.5L. Very tempting.
  12. No Problem Dave. They look nice and if I thought they would fit over my brakes I would have contacted you earlier today. Cheers Andy
  13. I have had time to go searching the net tonight looking for info on the VQ25DET. I have come across a site about some one who has done every possible mod to the M35 inside, outside and to the motor. Not only has he improved the turbo and the manifold but he has taken it out to a 3.5L VQ25DET. http://translate.google.com.au/translate?h...N%26start%3D150 Have a good look over the whole site and look for items to click on as there is all sorts of information in the background. It looks like it is a company called TEPS that does most of the mods and using a Fcon computer. This is soooooo interesting. Cheers Andy
  14. Dave, I can not see any details of the wheels you have for sale? Cheers Andy
  15. +100 No easy way, remove wheel, remove inner guard and reach through. Use good quality as you don't want to do it too often. LOL
  16. It is the springs, shock and wheel size. If you want to send me your VIN I can check some of the part numbers be your car and mine and see if they are different. You mentioned that you used the mounting on the rear from the old shocks. I had to do the same with the Bilstiens also.
  17. Looks good Scotty. The rear is very low. From what I have read there is no difference in the components between the RS and ARX for suspension.
  18. So what causes the did in power around the 100km/h mark. Is that that at 3500rpm where the cam angle changes?
  19. and and and and and how is the turbo / gear box etc etc etc
  20. I agree with Cam on the dimensions and yes could be interested. Cheers Andy
  21. Spotted 2 Stagea's today. 1) A Red C34 heading up the hill from Brookvale and followed it all the way to North Ryde. 2) Danny at Silverwater, went for a small gap turning off Silverwater rd to Victoria rd and as I swished through the gap saw it was a M35 stagea. Phone rang 2 minutes later and it was Danny. LOL
  22. Most of the scan gauges out of the US will work and also the Blatz system from NZ because the V35 (or G35 in the US) is fully compliant with the OBD2 protocols.
  23. I am doing my oil change every 5-7000 km. Mainly because I think it is better for the turbo and from what I have seen of most failed turbo's it seems to relate to the friction that develops at the bearing.
  24. That picture of the filter is in a different spot on my car. Am I correct in guessing that yours is not the VQ25DET motor? On the VQ25DET the oil filter faces forward (around the same location) and sits above the sway bar. You have to be careful not to drip too much oil on the sway bar.
  25. Yes, good to meet you also. Not this week but I will be back down in the next 3 weeks. I have some new boots to show customers. My way back was not short and also sent the wrong way which got me on this great road so it was soooo much fun even though I was driving all day.
