  1. Got to love google.
  2. It is 03/03. The safety pack is great with kids as it has the extra full lap sash seat belt for the center seat. I almost got to find out how safe it is, as a car last night did not give way to me in a round about and almost took the front end off the car. Cheers Andy
  3. What tha, No snow mode? You buy it and we will see how you go with it.
  4. Thanks for that info. Ah yes, the parts thread. I will make sure the one they give me tomorrow is this part number or equivelant. Cheers Andy
  5. I would not consider the standard Nissan shock as it is a twin tube shock and not particularly good. If you are going to replace them I would get something of a little better quality and at least a single tube design. Cheers Andy
  6. I have ordered one from Brookvale Nissan. I need to order another part so I did it all together and they will have it tomorrow so that is pretty good. Price is about $60 but will confirm that tomorrow. I tried the part number shown on Ian's post a while back but they did not have that listed. Hornsby Nissan could not find my car on FAST but Brookvale could and had no problem telling me the right part. When I pull the old one out I will take some photo's and do some measurements. It would be good to have a cheaper option. Cheers Andy
  7. You for got your tag line.... "will F#@k for parts" LOL It is so much fun in a frozen car parts. Much harder to do it these days as they are all serious now and no fun is allowed.
  8. Did any one manage to confirm the part number for the M35 pollen filter? I just rang Nissan to try to get it using the part number listed on the photo of the filter with no success. Cheers Andy
  9. I think that is why the rear shock is bolted into the "top hat" that then bolts to chassis. I would presume that allows to shock to have some lateral movement without causing any problems.
  10. We will have to make it a M35 convoy one weekend. I will be doing a few weekends from late July through to October. I know there is another m35 (blue one from memory) traveling down to the mountains. Saw it last year just south of Bredbo. Cheers Andy
  11. Go the Bilsteins. You will be very happy. And while you are upgrading find your self some stiffer swaybars. The improvement in handling is soooooo good.
  12. No, not that kind of special... LOL
  13. oh don't worry, you are Special............
  14. The factory one is quite clever with it's design. * It can be extended to fit in to different locations in the boot. (telescopic) * It can be stored either under the floor or as a basket below the roof. * On either end the end caps are slotted so it can be locked into the trim on the outside linings of the boot. If you have a look in the fold out clips you will see that inside each clip it narrows and the barrier locks into this slot. * it has straps in on the lower edge so it can be held in place using the loops on the floor. If you can get one it is very good.
  15. There were no V35's at the Dyno day. Jetwreck and I popped by in the afternoon to see what the place was like and it looked like a good workshop and facilities. Apparently about 33 cars went through on the day, S15's and Fords and Holdens. Saving the M35 for the next one.
  16. Hi Cristian The Auto Electrician is, All Car Auto Electrics (Greg) 9971 0900 Unit 11/1-5 Thew Parade, Cromer. He has all the equipment to read the M35/V35's and is very good with his work. I spoke to Greg about his knowledge of the V35 and he said he has worked on a few but did not describe himself as an expert on the car. He is very competent and helpful. I guess it is a matter of is there a better, closer or more convienient option. Cheers Andy
  17. Correct................lucky bastard. But then again I still have 2 working arms and fingers so I use these to activate the switch.
  18. Looks like you are there now. LOL There are other Cruise Control options, I have one fitted to my car and am very happy with it. The one Cris offers has the factory switches which are a a little neater than my ones. Mine was instaled by Security in Motion. Cost was around $800, because it is drive by wire. Cheers Andy
  19. I have my M35 booked in tomorrow with a Auto Electrician who does work for North Shore Prestige. He has a scan gauge that will read the M35/V35 and most other cars. I can let you know tomorrow afternoon what sort of job he does as he is tracking down an obscure electrical problem on my car. He is based in Cromer, Northern Beaches. Cheers Andy
  20. I was told by one lucky person with auto folding mirrors that it only folds in automatically when the mirror fold switch is pressed in at the top. When it is in the neutral setting in the middle they do not fold in.
  21. send Chris Rogers a PM. He can help you with this. Cheers Andy
  22. Yeah, but I know the X-trail is not as much fun to drive...
  23. Spotted Jetwreck this afternoon at Autotech. Also saw some nice S15's and few other EVO's and WRX's.
  24. I just leave the mirror toggle on the left side and when I go to park, turn the mirror down. Who needs auto dipping mirrors when I still have 2 functioning arms.... LOL
  25. I am trying to remember what I did. The power for the antena I picked up of the one of the wires at the back, purple keeps ringing a bell. I ran the power for the tuner from the cigarette lighter.
