It is in the boot of the car and too cold and wet to get but from memory there is a bolt on either end of the shaft keeping the impella's in place.

With an aftermarket boost gauge you take the reading form a nipple on the side of the manifold. ie, after the throttle body.

Yes, 1000kg. Would prefer it if it was 1250 but 1000kg will do all I want to do with this car and towbar.

I got a chance to have a look at the tow bar from Fast Fit in Leichardt on Saturday. The bar mounts across the back of the car inside the rear bumper and has a tongue that also mounts into the wheel well. So it has 3 key mounting points. Either side on the rails and into the wheel well. The only part you will see is the tongue that comes out through the rear bumper. The work shop looked very good and the people very helpful. I will post some pics once installed this week. Cheers Andy

Oooohhhhhh Forgot about that coming up. I might have to see if I can make that as it will be interesting to see the effect of the new exhaust. Only drama is I haven't done a oil change for about 5000km. It is due soon. and no time this week to do it.

The only answer is to stick it on a dyno and see what you get. I recon the boost gauge that the RS has is maybe not that accuarte. As you said, it only goes to 1 bar (11.6psi) and this is too low to show the level we are seeing from all the ARX. I'll have to talk Iain into putting one on his car to see what his car gets. His car is still stock so it will be a good test. I will be interested to see what my car pulls after the new exhaust goes on this week.

Hi Cam I don't think that could be right. The power out put for all M35 fitted with the VQ25DET is 206kw and 406nm torque. this suggests that the boost is identical for all our cars. It would seem that the factory boost gauge is less than accurate as most of you report problems with them. I think the factory boost level when stock is about 14psi. Jetwreck was say 15-16 with a modded exhaust and it is possible that his boost gauge may be showing one extra psi. I will see if I can find anything in the car manual I have. Cheers Andy

thanks for the feedback. I spoke to him this morning about the alternate comments on the way the fuel economy gauge would work. The good news is that we will be able to make and selectable option when ordered. This way you can see the information the way you prefer. The bad news it will cost you double NAH.............LOL Just kidding. It will be a selectable option but there should not be any extra cost. Cheers Andy

I am on hold at the moment on that front. My buyer broke his leg and is out of commission for 8 weeks.

It was Yahoo / Import Monster. I even had some one in Japan to buy it for me and freight was going to be $30. I could have got it for $160. I am looking forward to seeing the GB price for the local dump. I got a quote for a local exhaust from the dump back and I feel like I have really been bent over. His plans are that there will be 2 discs; Disc 1, will install and produce a unique code that will show on the screen. That number gets sent to the developer and within 24 hours a the final disc will be ready to download. Disc 2 is a unique version with the serial number produced from disc 1, encripted in the 2nd disc. that is the theory, waiting to see the final product. Cheers Andy

I can not speak highly enough of him. He has been very generous with his time and knowledge in every dealing I have had with him. Much of what he did for me was not financial gain buy for knowledge of a new model.

Yes, I would say they are ass monkeys. LOL (who would up grade to a smaller bar, perhaps softer) The only certain way of getting swaybars as per Gary's spec is to order with Gary. I wanted all the handling mods done first, then performance. Getting a price on the exhaust tomorrow, did you get a quote from Charleston? Maybe we can ht them up for a 2 car price if you are ready to do it?
