  1. I was thinking about why it would be better on the RS/RX and I figure that it is because of weight and the smaller wheels on the RS/RX. This would give the RS/RX lower gearing for stop start traffic. I agree that Damien needs to get his car checked. Cheers Andy
  2. There are 8 columns with no data to the right of the last history record.
  3. I am pretty sure he did, Ben said my exhaust went to Adelaide!! LOL He got the Legalis exhust, lucky bastard.
  4. There are 2 different prices. One is painted and one is not painted. I am going to get the unpainted ones that way whoever wants them can get them painted locally. I am going to paint mine myself. The delivered price for the unpainted is about $120 and $190 respectively. The basic price is $50 and $100 respectively without freight. When the freight is in I will know what the final cost will be. If you want some thing different PM me and I will see if I can get the painted one. Cheers Andy
  5. I am just about to bring some items in from Japan so I am thinking of adding a few sets of the eye lids to the shipment as their freight cost will work out well with the items I am bringing in. Would you be interested in a pair? Cheers Andy
  6. Similar but not quite the same. This is the one I bought http://www.oemautosound.com/pc-352-194-ipo...ging-cable.aspx The upside of this one is that you can connect it to 12v power to charge the ipod also. Cheers Andy
  7. only play DVD's if you have an aftermarket player installed.
  8. Also bear in mind that not all models get the same economy. An ARX will consume more petrol than a RS or RX. It is a heavier car and even the Factory quotes higher fuel usage.
  9. Yes, I got mine at North Shore. Yes, that is the right one with the clock. That sounds very odd because the trip meter uses the GPS to measure distance. Have you pressed some of the buttons in the menu's in VICS section? Cheers Andy
  10. The R32 rotors that we have on are 296 x 32mm. So my best guess on the M35 are 296 x 28mm. Cheers Andy
  11. The leaf should be going up and down when you drive. The history graph shows each record you save, ie, when you reset it records that result. You can see that there is some history on your shot but it is odd that it is not recording now. I know that if you have a TV override button (so you can view TV while moving) that the Trip meter does not record distance traveled but I am not sure what would stop the economy guage working. Is the Trip meter working (it is the selection below the Fuel economy)? Only other thing I can think of is that your O2 sensor may be failing. But that does not really make any sense. Not sure i know what else to suggest. Cheers Andy
  12. I can see that the Green leaf is registering as the stem of the leaf is green. The bottom button that is highlight when pressed is the History (as you have already worked out) the top button (use the wand to select the upper button) resets the results back to 0 (or **.*) as on your screen. It looks like you have reset the unit and not driven any where yet. Depending on the driving you are doing and what sort of terrain it is on, the economy is about right. I get around 500 km a tank (65-70L to fill) when commuting in heavy Sydney traffic.
  13. You need to get a cable that plugs into the bottom of your ipod that has a video output. I bought mine from the US. The only down side is that there is no remote control and you can see the menu's on the OEM screen as you can with the Griffin unit.
  14. 7km/L is 14.28liters per 100km. So if you are using 20 liters per 100km your display will be 5km/L. If this is right, it is terrible. And you live in a flat city. Try Sydney will all the hills around the coast and I still manage 7km/L. I think it is time for a check up. Cheers Andy
  15. Have a look at this link, http://www.bluevalhalla.com/gallery/v/geek/g35carputer/ It is for a Car PC but they use a screen the goes up and down like the OE one.
  16. Can you get a part number? I can check it on fast.
  17. On the G35 Driver site there is also a couple of threads about installing screens in the OE position. There are companies in the US making a mechanism that will go up and down like the factory. I was looking at a 7 inch touch screen monitor that from China that looked interesting. Would be good to fit that the OE mechanism and then you can really have some fun. Cheers Andy
  18. If it fits the V35 I can't see why it wouldn't fit a M35. All the dash components are the same so it seems logical it will fit. Cheers Andy
  19. The factory screen is NTSC only so you will need a unit that outputs to NTSC. I don't know enough about the how the screen plugs into the system so can not answer. Chris Rogers would probably know the answer to this question. Come along to the meet tomorrow any I am sure you will see a few different solutions. Cheers Andy
  20. I think he will get it in about a week. Still the be confirmed but see if we can help a show once received. Cheers Andy
  21. Spotted a Gold ARX on Pennant Hills road around 12.30 today. It turned right at Pennant Hills. I think it was probably Danny. Tooted and waved but he was in the right turn lane and I was in the curb lane. Cheers Andy
  22. I think you would be best getting your M without the TV/Sat Nav option if that is a the one compramise you have to make. The sat Nav will not work in Australia will not work anyway. The TV is an easy fix for about $400. If you can get one with the single din head unit you can look to choose an aftermarket head unit that has GPS/DVD/TV & ipod input. That would be my preference.
  23. A mate of mine is about to buy an ARX with Cruise along with just about every other conceivable option. Will be quite cool to play with it. It will be interesting to see how it keeps the car at highway speed as I find that the car can be a little surgy on cruise. When you look at the grill the radar is in the centre of the grill in shield like shape getting narrow at the bottom and is a dark colour. The Nissan badge sits on top of the radar pannel. I have seen a few of them here but they are rare.
  24. I don't think it will be any problem at all for your planned use. The HICAS has no bearing on the engine parameters. Some of the basics are that it only works above 40kmh and only steers with the front wheels. When I looked the ECU part up on FAST it only gives one part number for all VQ25DET's Cheers Andy
  25. I don't know this for sure but some manufactures put a lock on the fold down seats so you can not access the boot from inside the car for security. Have a look at the lock in the boot, you may find a switch to release the lock so it is free. Cheers Andy
