  1. Lol.. yes may have been me.. Also spotted a White C34 with a non standard exhaust.. may have been Duncan. And yes, this is perfect weather for fun in the stagea once you clear the shitty traffic.
  2. I knew someone would ask that...... lol It is certainly better than on the stock pump but at redline I am getting up to 95% duty cycle but this is with AFR of 10.5 so not too worried about that.
  3. Good... Now I can turn the boost controller on and get more POWER..
  4. AFR's are off boost low RPM (0-2500) 13.5 - 14.5 Low boost mid RPM (2500-4500, up to 10psi) 12.3-12.8 High boost full throttle (4500 +, 15psi) 10.7-11.2 Quite happy with these numbers.
  5. Have to do a bit more testing to be sure but I don't think they were. Will be able to tell you more tomorrow. Also got to get the boost controller working again and run more like 17psi.
  6. Installed my Walbro 250 pump in my M35 today and set up a power source direct from the battery to ensure full power to the pump at all times. Reason for changing the pump was following the introduction of Nismo ECU, 3 inch suction pipe and spring on turbo actuator was seeing AFR being too high. AFR's on medium throttle and below 4500rpm were all good and around 11.8-12.5 but higher rpm and more throttle saw AFR's is 13's. So new pump fitted and now AFR's are much better at 10.7 to redline. Now to start playing with boost again to see what the car will handle.
  7. I bet you saw that car at a dealer on Parramatta road?
  8. Be very careful Cam... your economy is better than my car and I know I am running lean.
  9. Fitted my AEM Uego wideband today and wired it into the Informeter. All works perfectly Not sure I like what I see..... a little to lean on full throttle for the good of the motor. Time for some more work to do the next step, emanage and injectors and perhaps Walbro fuel pump with 12v power.
  10. Spotted Iain in his Nismo special in ryde this morning.
  11. Will be interesting to see what my AFR's are one wide band is fitted today. saw 800 C on the exhaust gas on the weekend which was a little higher than I wanted.
  12. What was the camera that you used designed for? (what car model) Cheers ANdy
  13. That looks a bit more boy racer, Scott... but nice.
  14. As much as I don't like cats I think putting one in your exhaust is cruel.. lol
  15. I used to have the first series Forester and can assure you there is far more boot and passenger room in the Stagea. Not sure about comparative fuel economy as mine was the 2.0L NA and has no comparison in performance.
  16. Installed my new ECU this weekend.. NISMO Sportstune Very first drive it is obvious the difference with the car being a lot more toey of the line. Best part to be experienced is in the mid range now coming on much stronger and faster. Next step to put it on the Dyno and see what the AFR's are like and what the actual power out put is. Is this enough power..
  17. mmm.. they are nice and good value..
  18. Agree 100%
  19. Are you suggesting Chuckie that the C34 does not look like a Volvo?? that would be a total fantasy to think that.. lol
  20. I have upgraded the fronts to R32 GTR calipers with no downside to the overall braking performance. I think most people have upgraded the front without touching the rear. Cheers Andy
  21. ooppsss... double post
  22. Not a scott dump but a Westside one that was modeled off a Dolphin one that Craig bought. I have a full 3 inch exhaust from turbo back.
  23. Over the last few days did a return trip to Canberra. Since I last posted my economy on the last trip of 11.3L/100km and 9.3L/100km I have made a couple of mods. I have installed a new larger suction pipe and installed Scotts special turbo actuator that has an additional spring fitted to it to keep the waste gate closed on low rpm and hold boost to high rpm. This last trip got 11.3L/100km on the Sydney - Canberra leg and included 5 days commuting in Canberra. Return trip from Goulburn - West Ryde where I filled up was 9.0L/100km. I saw a low of 8.6L/100km before I got into Sydney traffic. I have an Exhaust Gas Temperature probe fitted and can see with these mods that car is running a little leaner on cruise with temps ranging from 400 - 700 degrees.
