Does anyone know if the O2 sensor on the M35 stagea is NARROW or WIDE band? I have a Jaycar mixture meter i would like to put on the car to see how rich the car is running and when but it is only suitable for NARROW band sensors. Cheers Andy

The ARX front ones are $330 inc GST.

there is no doubt that once the temperature gets above 26 that performance is not as good and fuel usage is higher. I manage to get around 520-560 per tank for around 65 - 70 liters. Cheers Andy

Got mine today, Thanks Rianto.

Who is doing your tuning? I like the sound of being able to adjust the tune without a piggy back. I am happy with the boost level, I would just like tune it a bit on the fuel side as that would give a bit more power (not so rich) and bring the fuel cost down a bit. I would agree that I mostly only ever fill to about 68-70 liters. I have on one occasion put in 75 liters but I find the orange light comes on with a good 10 liters of fuel left. Cheers Andy

Your going to have to choose another day before I can make a meet. Might see if I can make it to the Dyno day to have a look see. Cheers Andy -
Spotted xei201 at my house tonight. Nice looking Stagea.. Spotted a silver S1 at 6.15 turning onto Warringah Rd from Forrest Rd. Had roof racks with what looked like bike racks and aftermarket wheels (grey I think). Cheers Andy

I know Jetwreck tried the R32 GTR rear caliper and it would not fit. Not sure about other models though.

Comparison Of Vq25det And Vq30det Turbos
andy65b replied to zei20l's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
From what I have heard so far it is unlikely that it is a straight fit as the M35 is described as having quite a unique turbo. Give me a call and if you want to drop around this evening or i can organise to give you the FAST disc tonight. Cheers Andy -
I like the exhaust..... nice.. I forgot to answer part of that question. The front calipers and rotors are the same as the standard V35. The rear caliper and rotor are different. I am running Hawk HPS pads on the front and rear that have been great. I actually have a spare pair of the Hawk HPS pads for the front if you are interested. Cheers Andy

Hi TT There is a thread in the stagea section which talks about some of the upgrades, this upgrade is one that Jetwreck sorted out and I am about to fit to my ARX. We have used R32 GTR calipers, with a spacer fitted, Jetwreck has these details for the spacer. You can use a standard R32 GTR rotor with this and there is a group buy for these from RS73. This upgrade is agreat value at under $700 for the parts depending on what you pay for you calipers and if they need a rebuild. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/M3...es-t213586.html Cheers Andy

I am hoping to have some screen shots of the other pages that are being converted in the next week but the complete conversion pack will not be ready before Dec. We are in the hands of the developer and he is running behind. Sorry guys, we all want this badly including me. Cheers Andy

On the passenger side there are two openings (gloveboxes for lack of a better term) the top one folds up. In this one the 2 things that seem to be in many v35 & M35's are the DVD rom for the SAT NAV. This is not a DVD player for movies. The second, is usually the ETC device. This is an electronic toll device for Japanese roads. The lower glove box folds down but there is nothing in this box. You will need to remove the glove box to get at the CPU for the motor. This is a link to a page that shows how to remove various parts of the dash to access much of this area. http://g35ipod.com/installHW.php?skin=1 Under the glove box is a black kick pannel that is above your feet when sitting in the passenger seat. (this also holds the flare if you have one). This just pulls down from the leading edge. You can see the CPU above this. Cheers Andy -
Looks great Nick. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh when I can. Cheers Andy

If you have TV/Nav, the CPU is ...................? I thought it was in the passengers kick panel but I have seen another diagram where it shows it behind/above the glove box. Which one is right? -

Unfortunatly Thursdays don't work for me either. Sorry. If we can arrange another night I could do it. Cheers Andy -
ramps would be enough, mind you I don't have those either. :LOL may have to get some....

Don't tell my kids...they would be devastated. they love watching the compass & and the economy "leaf", love to tell me that I am being bad and using too much fuel. LOL
-
I find my compass to be pretty accurate. I will have to check it against another compass or via a directory. It did go through a phase where it was almost 180 degrees out but has been great for over 9 months. Cheers Andy

As long as you can get under the car it is easy. SK actually posted a thread on how to install them on the M35 (done on my car). It is literally an unbolt and bolt new ones back in place. Which ones are you looking to buy. I fitted a solid 32mm front (same size as original but was hollow) and solid 24mm rear (original was 22mm hollow), it is also the adjustable one. I found that the rear needs to be on one setting harder than the front. I am thinking of backing off the front as it can still under steer on throttle at low speeds and the tuck in when you lift the throttle is a little slower than I would like. Cheers Andy

The software will change all the non GPS screens from Japanese to English. The only other thing that will be done will be to convert the kmh/llitre to Liters/100kmh. There is no DVD player in the car as you bought it. It is a DVD rom for the GPS only and will not play DVD's. The TV tuner is not compatible with Aust frequencies but an Aust spec TV tuner can eaisly be fitted. (See Chook or Chris Rogers for these solutions) Nav is a whole different story. There are no maps for the Nav system so it can still measure your distance travelled and give you exact speed readings, compass and altitude but will not show you where you are in Aust. Chris Rogers has a soluton for the GPS if you are interested but this uses an external GPS with Aust maps. The development is running behind schedule but is due this year (sorry everybody, nothing I can do to fix this). I will be posting up a some screen shots over the next 2 weeks to show what it is you would be getting with the tranlation. Cheers Andy

I am very happy with the change. I find it much more natural pulling back to change up gears. When accelerating it is a much shorter movement to take may hand from the wheel and pull back. Anyway, I like it so mine is also staying.
