  1. Is there meant to be an inline fuse between the to redwires with a blue stripe on them?, It looks like those wires have been disconnected but the ballast and everything is still there Any ideas? Thanks in advance
  2. Hi, the picture has helped the panel is installed in my car And i had a look, and the ballast is all wired in except 2 red wires with a blue stripe. Also how is the panel removed, mine has a bit of moisture in it (that has started to effect the chrome in it) Thanks for the picture BTW
  3. Has anyone made a tute for the r32 illuminated rear panel? I can only find r33 DIY's
  4. Should I clean the meter as well or get a new one, as a precaution
  5. Cool Will fix the contacts and see what happens Thanks for all the help Greg
  6. Hi Sorry about that i should have said it was the R32. You could be on to something with the Alarm, It has circuits on the Fuel pump and starter solenoid, the problem is all the wiring is black and hidden. Im gonna get someone to follow me round the block to see if it happens again. Could this problem be related to difficult starting the motor? My old holden 202 starts better than it? I'll Check it out today Thanks
  7. Hi Last week I was driving my car It shut off, all the light came on on the dash I.e. Battery and HICAS etc and i had no power assisted brakes or Steering. I came to a stop, put the car in neutral and it started again, I drove around the corner and the same thing happened i managed to push it into a driveway. It started fine again (in Park) and as soon as i put it in drive it stopped again. Suspecting the AFM I had a look at it and wiggled some wires and as a precaution I turned off the A/C. I Started it again and managed to get home. I just want to know if it was the AFM or is it another common issue and I Fixed it by chance. Also It seemed to happen when i was doing 60 the car shut off and turned on again though? BTW It seems to happen when the engine is cold. Any Ideas? Thank in advance
  8. Something like tein s-tech coils springs? or the Tein Super Street kit? Coilovers? TEIN Basic Dampers? Other brands, lower profile tyres? Thanks for you help
  9. i think i am screwed, the offset is 38et on speedy wheels inferno black http://www.speedywheels.com.au/images/zoom/inferno-black.htm Am i right?
  10. when i got down gutters my 18" wheels hit the upper control arms, how do i sort this out? Coilovers? Springs? Thanks in advance
  11. make that $345
  12. after 15 years it finally shat itself cost $285
  13. Anyone know any good radiator places here? Need to head in quick before my radiator goes
  14. I have an r32 with that removable el panel, but when i got rear ended it got resprayed and now has moisture in it that ate away the chrome paint in the panel. Anyway to fix it and get it working again? i also have a lead that comes out of the floor near the spare wheel. Would be wicked to get it going, it pwns, any advice would be a good help
  15. Yeah the gtt has a semi auto with toggle buttons on the wheel to change gears. there is a bit of a lag when changing gears and automatically changes down if you forget to so it doesn't stall, that said i don't use the semi-manual too often. I think the one in the city is a rb25de Neo without a turbo and thats probably the only reason it hasn't sold Ohh and BTW where can u get HKS products in Darwin, am getting one installed. (Posted earlier but skylines australia crashed) That's a pretty good price for an 80mm radiator, but I don't think there is enough room between the front of the engine fan and radiator, not to mention the auto predicament. Thanks for the link
  16. Lol Was trying to make it look like something happens in Darwin, but now the secret has been blown.
  17. I can't, its in real good knick, when I finish at uni was going to get a 32 GTR, but they'll be vintage by then , possibly a 34 BTW do you know a bloke with a s15 with the numberplate Mjestyk?
  18. Yeah, I was looking at getting a Aluminium radiator. But the sad story is my car is auto *heavy heavy shame* So I would have to run a transmission cooler separately and have to find some place to mount it, That and I could only find Davies Craig coolers. Unless there is a better way? Any ideas except the obvious manual conversion ?
  19. I dont see those cars often, i do hear them but Right now in the R32, where the plastic tank stamped to the metal radiator core is leaking.
  20. About a month and a half between posts, essentially this thread a microcosm of the NT. There would be a lot more than 20 skylines in the territory wouldn't there? I mean even I have a black r32 gtst, that everyone seems to hate? (probably because it is stock apart from rims)
  21. Hi I have an 160rli installed in my skyline. All I currently have in use on it right now are the ultra sonic sensors. what I would like to know is: Does it have a turbo timer input? Is the shock sensor too sensitive with this unit? (because it was never connected but i have it still in the box) Can i get a boot release hooked up? (I always use the boot) and are the other options like, windows close on lock and the courtesy light expensive/reliable?
  22. Thanks for all you advice, will get it done shortly especially in the tropics
  23. How much did it cost roughly?, it was http://www.autotecnica.com.au/ right and what would i need?
  24. Hi After 15 years the radiator leaks where the metal is pressed to the plastic tank. btw this is on an r32 gtst So Aluminium radiator came to mind, but i have an auto tranny (sad I know) and I believe this is also used to cool the transmission fluid. So could I get a transmission fluid cooler + the radiator or am i better of trying to get this fixed or getting a recon. unit. Thanks in advance (sorry if someone has posted something similar but the search function hasn't been working lately)
  25. sorry i meant the rear brake/taillights etc Does anyone know how to remove the rear light assembly? I need some instructions, as i will try to seal it again thanks in advance
