  1. Can you measure the tube diameter and measure inside the inspection hole and let me know the thickness of the tubing. I am in Canada but VERY interested if it meets FIA specs. Shipping costs is not an issue. I need to know the measurements in mm. Thanks.
  2. http://www.kingslinky.net/pulsat_gtir/ http://sportscarforums.com/f10/92-nissian-...-gtir-3067.html http://www.geocities.com/evilnis_nz/f_a_q.html http://www.ozautos.com.au/compliance.htm
  3. Well, sorry but you are still wrong. You may have owned a car that had an a/m center diff in it. Why does it have a torque split guage just like the GTR? I've done my research.
  4. Uhh, GTi-R's run the same Attessa ETS that the GTR has. Some components are different but it is essentially the same system. I drive my friends GTR all the time at the track, and you are saying they don't under steer? hhaha, riiiiight. GTRs are cops, even with Teins and fully ajustable suspension running on semi-slicks his car understeers. And it's certianly not from a bad suspension setup. Anyways, all I want to do is run the gti-r 50/50 for when there is loads of snow out.
  5. I am planning to buy a GTi-R to beat around on in the winter up here in Canada. My question is, if I put a torque split controller in to run full time AWD, will this wear out my clutch pack in the transfer case? Also, will just driving it in regular operation do the same? I've been told that they are only really meant for quick bursts of power to the front wheels, and by running it in full time AWD it will cause problems. The GTi-R has the same Attessa system as the GTR, incase you were wondering.
  6. I am looking to upgrade my turbo to something that has a higher power output than the stock RB20 turbo. I track/AutoX/Solosprint my car, so I am trying to find the best turbo for that application. I am aiming for 200-220rwkw, but don't want it to hit full boost (.8-1 bar) after 3500rpm. Currently my car hits 1 bar at 2900, with an FMIC and cat back 3'' exhaust. I drove a GTR at autoX yesterday which is fully built with gt2860's and an R34 N1 block. The spool comes on WAY to late to even be competitive at the track. So basically I am looking for the best trade-off between quick spool and power output. Obviously I will have supporting fuel/exhuast/ecu/internal mods for the turbo. I am just looking for turbo information, nothing else. The one turbo that stands out atm is the HKS Gt2530 due to it's "bolt-on" feature and which apparently can hit 210ish rwkw. Does anyone run this turbo, and what kind of spool am I looking at with one. Are there any other suggestions for an internally gated turbo for an RB20DET (HCR32). If I HAVE to I can purchase a new manifold, but if it's bolt on all the better. Thanks!
  7. Remeber, these will be strickly track, hillclimb and AutoX wheels. My street wheels will have cheapo federals on them so they only cost $50 to replace
  8. Yes I got in contact with him. He PM'ed back, hopefully we can figure something out with shipping because if I read correctly he was quoted $450 JUST for Shipping to Vancouver, Canada. Crazy. The main problem is there are NO swaybars in Canada, so they would be either coming from Japan or AUS. So either way I'm going to be paying out of my arse.
  9. I test fitted them with the crappy slide on spacers. Looks like I will need a 10mm spacer to clear them. That leaves them sticking out about as much as the rears are right now. But the front will be running some uber camber (-3.5 ish) so they should tuck in nicely. The only thing I need to deal with now is my body roll so they don't rub under hard cornering.
  10. here's a quick pic of the rears test fitted. Still need to be rolled, and figure out something a long the lines of swaybars. front will be on in a few days.
  11. Oh and also some rear pineapples too.. Super type.
  12. Hey, So I want to purchase some swaybars. I contacted a sponsor on GTRC and he told me about the Tanabe ones. They would run around $450 CAD (approx $466AUD) without shipping from Japan. Now I am also interested in the Whiteline swaybars, because they are adjustable to my needs and the Tanabe ones are static. My car is currently being built up as a hillclimb track car, so the more fine tuning the better. I also have a fair amount of body roll with my KYB shocks and RS*R springs and I want to pretty much eliminate it. I was just wanting to know how much the adjustable Whitelines (beefy the better) with urethane bushings would run with Shipping to Vancouver, BC, Canada. If there are any sponsors here who can hook me up with a full price quote and approx ETA to ship them here that would be awesome! Car is a 1992 HCR32. Thanks, Aaron
  13. I purchased a S15 Helical diff, but it did not come with the output shafts that are needed to install it into the R32 Gts-t R200 pumpkin. Are there any other options for me to use to get it installed as finding some S15 shafts is proving to be near impossible. The stock VLSD output shafts have 29 ribs on the spline, whereas the S15 diff has 30. Are there any other Nissan vehicles (preferable ones slod in NA) that may have output shafts that will work? OR!! even better. If someone has a set of S15 shafts... ??! let me know how much you want for them.
  14. I've looked into it. I don't really have a budget... lol. Just make them fit is my plan. I have some spacers at home, so I will test fit them with the spacers on but no studs (wont drive on it) and test them without. ONLY if I need to run the spacers I'll get the studs.
  15. Well, if I need spacers I can get longer studs no problem. I'll update when they get here and I try a test fit.
  16. Ya, they are going to need a serious pull. But that's OK. If I can find some GTR fenders local, I'll go that route. I'll post pics when it's done.
  17. So I just went for it and ordered the 255/40/17 Toyo R888. They will fit the rear fine, but I will most likely need to run a 10mm spacer on the front which is fine. I found some nice hubcentric ones that will do the trick nicely.
  18. The stock ones are solid all the way around and look very different.
  19. Ya basically pull of all the rubber parts, and take out all the bulbs. Then throw it in the oven at 200F for about half an hour. Then it takes a bit of coaxing to get them apart. Take apart the stuff on the inside. The part I painted black was the main LARGE peice of plastic. I also painted the metal cone shaped part that it on the low beam area with a silver colored paint because the stock paint was starting to peel. Be careful to not break any tabs they are VERY fragile. Once you are happy with the results and have put the insides back in, CLEAN EVERYTHING with a microfiber town. I missed one of my low beam projectors and there is a finger print on it now. Also make sure there are no peices of dust or finger prints on the inside of the glass, or they will always be there. You need to remove all the old silicone, and re seal it with black silicone. Don't use the clear stuff, it dosen't seal as well. Thanks basically it. -Aaron
  20. I opened them up by putting the headlight in the oven for a little while (to soften the glue) and painted the main surround matte black and repainted the silver pieces silver. It gives it a bit of a meaner look I think.
  21. Not sure where to put this so I'll just put it in general. I need roll over protection to run at local SOLO1 events. Preferable I want a 4 or 5 pt bolt in cage. I have a sunroof so that makes it even harder. Who out there makes roll bar/rear cage for r32s? I live in Canada and it's impossible to find one. If I have to I can go the custom route but it will cost an outrageous amount to make a proper weld in full rear cage (which is what i would only do if i were to get a custom one made) Thanks!
  22. I actually just read your post again and saw something. You are running a 235 45, but I will be running a 40 series. That should have a fair amount of difference. I'm starting to think that by adding all the different stories here, I think a 245/40 may be the best idea and if I have to, run a 5 mil spacer in the front.
  23. ok thanks for the info. i was hoping i could get 255's all around, but i guess i will have to figure something else out.
  24. need to know asap. im sure someone here knows this info. 29 spine or 30?
