just went by feel because its a nylock nut crushing a rubber bush, cant see how you can really get a accurate torque setting.
whiteline dont make the rear 60mm subframe bushes anymore. later model 76mm dr30 bushes are still available though

All good now. seems the 10sec delay works better then the said 7, cheers guys. Drilled n tapped a 3/8 bsp plug in the egr valve so manifold should stay clean now.
Hmm interesting about the vdc thing. Has a button on the dash says vdc and brings a light up when its turned off. Also stops the cruise control when off. Will post a pic once I work out how on on the phone. Cheers

Ah k at second glance the button has a picture of a side mirror on it so it might be that?
Yea vdc (vehicle dynamic control) I believe it's called. Makes no difference on/off guess maybe in the wet or really flogging it.

Just bought a 2001 300gt and I've searched but still have a few questions.
Done the manifold clean because it had hot starting issues ( it was caked on in there!). Now I have high idle problems. I've tried the reset thingo but still no go. Not sure if I'm doin it right or is there a different sequence for 300's? Just brings up a picture of a spanner and says "pit" on the screen.
Also I've read that 300's don't have vdc bit mine has? Also has a electronic muffler and that sonar cruise control thing. There's a button under the dash near the muffler and vdc controls that says "auto". Anyone know what it does? Small round one.

let us know how the bush goes. I was thinking of going down the same path. not sure over time it might start binding?
other option was i have some z31 rear brakes and was thinking of machining the back out of one and then pressing the bearing out to reuse.
ive got apair of koni yellows. came out of my dr30. did alot of sitting around before i bought it so their in good nick.

i used r31/hr31 style ones. rears bolt in. fronts just have to cut the strut leaving about 100mm then slip the coilovers over and weld on. sounds dodge but common and works well
