  3. FYI, I have paid a deposit on the car and have it at home, I will pay for it in full next week when it gets registered. The engine comes out this weekend to have the sump baffle put in, and a few there things as well. Beers will be on for anyone who wants to pop in, except fatz, he will slow production and drink all the resources!
  4. All, They are 18x11's all round, 45 offset or what ever a STD gtr offset is. They are a once off development wheel and were never put on the production line, this is the only set in existance.

  6. Everyone, Firstly thanks for your input. Although im going to track this R32 it still has to get me to work 2-3 times a week, thats about 5000km per year, the J-Boy thing looks nice but with the cage and everything else it is a little too trackie and not enough streetie for me. And the main thing is its in QLD and rego swap and that side of the hassle. Im keen to also learn the black art of suspension set up and do it my way. After driving the 2540's Im happy, boost was on full at about 4000 rpm, and a fatter mid range is possible once the outlet and inlet is freed up from the restrictions (2.5 cat and STD airflow's) and cams are worked for mid range. Keep in mind I do have a 3lt animal donk ready to drop in so I think I will stick with the vspec. I have had very few people telling we its a rip off and too expensive, so Im happy to part with the cash. I have advised that I will take the car and a deposit will be coming on Friday. Thanks everyone for your opinions, and I will unveil the final product on the 2nd Aug once its completed and registered. Im taking the car for 2 weeks to track ready her before I push her round the track and put it on the road! New post to come! Thanks again everyone.

  9. The car looks to have had the work done in Japan a fair while ago, except for plugs its as it left Japan. I started with that mind set, accept The parts and Labour bill hit almost $20k (Internals/turbo's/clutch/ and acc's), and I have had trouble finding cheap late 32's without damaged or rusted rails. I have only been looking for 3 weeks both here and in Jap auctions. Point taken but I have run out of time. I loose the 34 in a couple of weeks and need wheels.

  14. That is the intent! Im moving work location and will be doing far less street Km's so I can allow this car to be a lot more aggresive then I have with my previous GTR's. I guess my question is around market price for a car like this. The ass has dropped out of the market a little, and I wonder if I am paying too much for this car?

All, After thinking long and hard over what new car to get, I have decided to stay with a GTR, Im keen to do some more serious track times so I am looking at an R32's GTR, which I can take one step further then my R34. I have found a real (Checked with Nisan) R32 GTR Vspec 93 model 77,000 Km, mods are listed below. HKS 2540 turbos HKS 264 cams HKS Turbo Manifold HKS Dump pipes HKS Header pipes HKS Inlet pipes HKS Pods HKS Intercooler HKS Hyper Damper Suspension HKS Remote oil filter and cooler Adj Cam sprockets OS Twin Plate Clutch Metal Head and other gaskit's Apexi PFC and hand controller Upgraded fuel pump 800CC Injectors 90mm exhaust Cuscal Remote catch can Cuscal radiator deflector 17in Advan wheels Caster Adj front Boost gauge Turbo timer The Vspec STD Brembo Barkes, Vspec diff and Brake vents UAS Dyno showed 280KW at 15PSI (With 2.5'' crap Cat) and Comp check was approx 140PSI on all 6, under carriage is a straight as they come and the interior is in good condition. I plan to do some additional mods. Water Menthol injection, Fat belly Cat, RB25 Airflows and pods, Sump Baffle, DBA rotors and Frodo 2500’s, Upgrade the radiator, Camber kit and alloy bushes, Retune. Buy price is $25K with 12 months rego. What do people think about the car and the price? Im thinking of placing a deposit today, so appreciate the feedback. Thanks
  16. Andrew, I must say I had to change my under wear when we came off 6-7 at 130km/h straight onto the grass, thank god it was wet Im looking out my window praying "wheels please dont dig in, please please please". All is well that ends well!

  19. Well we might be 1 person less, my WRX mate just called to let me know he way at the mcdonalds on the hume. I thoughjt it was funny but for some reason he did not see the funny side. He is busy tomorrow and probably cant make it, but he will try. I on the other hand just found out my L2S has expired, what are my chances of getting it renewed today?

  25. Most probably, but I was not going to entre just have it on display and I wanted to just help out on the day. Anyway have a good one and I trust the event will be a blast!
