  1. No bookings or anything, just rock up on the day.
  2. All interested drivers, As some back ground info, I did a private practise drive day out at OP last month, it was gold. I had an open track and only 4 other cars driving! I had the track to myself, no marshals, no sessions it could not get better. I was incapable of driving anymore laps by 3pm due to exhaustion! I placed a call this morning to check if they had any more planned days, and apparently there were some cancellations that enabled a few day’s to open up, below is the response I received. Sat 7th Oct 06, South cct. $110 Mon 16th Oct 06, South cct. $110 Tue 17th Oct 06, GP cct. $110 Wed 18th Oct 06, South cct. PM only $50 Thursday 19th Oct 06, GP cct. $110 As per all CAMS days you need a CAMS Race or L2S licence, helmet, non flammable clothing and a road/track worthy car. Last time I went, they did not even look at my car or helmet, so there is some level of trust. I would encourage everyone check with Oran Park the day before on 0246461004, to ensure it is still being run. I think I might do either the 18th and or the 19th Oct. See you out there!, why own a high performance car and not use it, there is no excuse?
  3. Actually, it is worth a mention, for all the "my car is not ready" drivers out there. After 10-20 track days no oil cooler and no sump baffle and probably not the best oil such as the Motul 300V, I snapped #3 inlet valve. Perhaps oil surge from no sump baffle, but who knows if it was related or not.
  4. I thought I was the best statement of GTR reliability. Since sump baffle and oil cooler, 40-50 track days in my R33 and R34.
  5. Safest place in the world to learn how to drive in the wet. Fatz and I had a ball last motor concept day we had in the wet. 3 tanks of fuel what a day!
  6. Drive and have an much fun as you can!
  7. Only 1 week to go yeah, everyone will be watching the weather forcast, but in a perfect world "dry to about 2pm then pissing down for some real fun!"
  8. No not really, offically you should have done a phase 1 and 2 driver training, but if you have some basic capability you will be fine.
  9. Abo, I cant get Shane to commit to the extra $135 until we get the GTS back up and running. Looks like we spun a bottom end or snapped a crank bolt. ETA is 2 weeks so we are touch and go at this stage. I will let Steve and Ralph know their $135 is needed and to fill in the form. Thanks
  10. Im in Brisbane working!

  12. Happy to be chassed down mr fatz, see you out there on the 7th Oct
  13. They have fixed that one, they charge everyone $10 and you get it back when you pay to drive!
  14. 1.55 is a good time, I thought you were going a little quicker then that. If Im going full pace I have to use the brakes at the 100 meter mark, one quick stab, get some balance and back on the juice. If I p!ssed the STD suspension off then I might be able to get it quicker round there. I only had 4 laps on the slicks. 2 warm up and then 2 lap's at full noise. I got a 1.55 then a 1.50.45 and was hoping to break that elusive 1.49's once I got into it, I guess I will have to wait until the SAU drive day on the 7th Oct before giving it another go!
  15. Yeah, but that lotus kicked his a$$ as well!
  16. Kero, The lotus was doing 1.52-3 laps he missed the power down the straight, but loved the back part of the course. I was only running 11psi so I hardly had big HP.
  17. R34 GTR VspecII. 11PSI, std suspension 245Kw@4 EC 1.50.45 2nd hand slicks EC 1.54.12 Yoka E300's
  18. Yeah it was a big day, there was no reason for not having heaps of people, it was a Sat, plenty of notice and fine weather. Must have something to do with the volume of other track day at the moment. I had a good day, had 3 laps on slicks pushed out a 1.50 and then popped a slick on turn 2, lucky I had almost stopped. Somethings wrong with the trkbtch, will find out more later.
  19. 16"s? I could maybe get some 17's.
  20. Well, this time tomorrow I will have done approx 100-200km of drift and grip at the creek and looking forward to the additional 100-300 in the arvo! See everyone there at around 8am. Try and get in a group along the open sheds at the back of the main pit garages. Lets go use a skyline like is meant to be used!
  21. Yeah, I had to go buy the deck down town, as they are hot property in the gay comunity!
  22. Looks who's in the give away pack of cards with the HPI mag!
  23. I will take it if falls through.
  24. Im a strong chase as always
