J@y, No not quite, its still an all day event, but SAU have the track very 30 min of every hour, with a hope that by lunch time the track will be open for all to enjoy.

Abo & Renew, It would still be good to do some free tracktime for some of the new people to get used to it before we send them out in super sprints. I personally would still like some open track time just to push some laps out. Also how do you deal with fools like me with slicks that need 3 laps to get some heat into them. Thanks

All, Firstly my appologies for the on again off again on again trouble that has transpired, but this is expected when you try to organise a trackday at the last minute. OK TUESDAY the 1ST AUGUST 06 was booked by someone else within 1hr of us getting notice that it was available. So now our only option is back to: MONDAY 7TH AUGUST 06 Our only option to drive is to share with the Aust Cars, Aaron has offered to cover the $20 Oran Park Licence cost as some level of compensation and in addition has limited the number of drivers to 16 people which are our existing committed numbers. Aaron expects the Aust cars may be finished by around 12 ish anyway and will try and negotiate us to open the track up after 12, so we can play with then. As most of you will know there will still be heaps of time on the track for us even if we dont open the day up after lunch. If anyone wants to pull out because we are sharing our time please let me know, but I dont think it will be as much of an impact as I first thought after speaking to Aaron, especially after the reduction in numbers. Attention All, Aaron has just gone to book the track on the 7th Aug and it looks like a group of 6 Oz cars have already grabbed the day, BUT! Aaron has spoken to the Oz cars group and they are happy to share the day with us. Aaron suggested we would split the groups and not mix the strret cars and the Oz cars. The cost will remain basically the same maybe drop to $180, as OP have ripped off the Oz cars by charging the standard rate. Aaron will keep his numbers only to our SAU group as we have enough numbers to almost support our own day. We have another option, Tuesday the 1st of AUGUST is available and we dont have to share with the OZ cars. Please let me know is you are available and keen for the Tuesday the 1st as I think this is the best option. If you want to pull out for any reason your deposit will be refunded. Im 100% Keen on the Tuesday. Please let me know ASAP if you can make it, so we can secure the drive day. Thanks, and sorry about the last minute changes.
