  1. Deviat, I will confirm price and size this morning, but I think the 15's were 195 and 215, I will let you know.
  2. To answer your question, very slippery would be the best way to describe the wet performance. These are a purpose built track tyre and do not really suit a daily road driver. You would only expect to get say 5000km tops on the road. Having uses the Toyo T1R, I can tell you it’s a better road/track tyre and is great in the wet. I got about 17,000km out of them with 5-6 track days. But the T1R's can be more expensive then the R888 prices above, but will last 3 times longer, but R888 will give you probably 3 sec quicker times at the track.
  3. All, I recieved a phone call from a wholesale friend I use for tyres. He has the following size Toyo R888's NEW available. 195x55x15's $165 each Low stock 215x50x15's $165 each 225x45x16's $200 each 215x45x17's $240 each 4 left 225x45x17's $250 each low stock 235x45x17's $250 each Sold out 255x40x17's $260 each Sold out Sorry no 18's You will have to move quick as he is selling them to all his tyre shops at this price, post up and PM me if you are interested and can pay straight away. These are one of the best Semi's around, road leagal and great for track or drag work. Do your reseach on the internet before you buy. Thanks Paul
  4. SCORE BOARD!!!! Paul Lewis 1:22.6884 Neil De Pau 1:23.0780
  5. Oh contraire my dear Liz! Im very committed, to my family then my car racing, its all about priorities.
  6. Im a 50/50 chance at this time
  7. Keys to the house, no probs, keys to the R34 issue
  8. If that R34 is Me duncan, I hight have an issue, I need to be NZ on the 10th June so I dont think I can make it, but my house at Soth West rocks is still available if needed.
  9. TutsR32, Aaron or one of the other instructors takes all first timers out driving to show you the inital basics, you then get to drive with an instructor to apply the basics. First timers normally get as much instruction as they need. For example my wife had an instructor on her first day, every lap she did prior to lunch was with someone beside her. There will be more then enough.
  10. YLD CHLD, For your first time out I would not worry too much about Tyres or Power, just dont turn up with shitty tyres as they are the only thing holding you on the road. If you put the recomended pressure say 36PSI you wont get any issues and maybe use 500km worth of tread and only do 200Km on the speedo. You are driving a GTR so endless wheel spin will not be an issue. Trust me you have many other things to learn and you car is well set up for a first timer.
  11. John, Thats good news about Jason, Im sure the car will be back bigger and better then ever. Let me know if he commits.
  12. No probs with stop watches
  13. No its the olny thing missing, but I am trying to organise a couple of transponders
  14. Wink, Most GTS-t's will break the 180 limit, but it will only affect your times by a second or two.
  15. I suppose I could do this event prior to the Aaron McGill track. Is it an all day event? Whats the kick off time? Can or should I use my cheater tyres?
  16. Smart mouth I thought you got a good look at one Sunday morning at the SAU drivers brief.
  17. Big words from a guy who has not been on himself in 6 months
  18. Wink, Until Aaron lets us know the event is almost full, so if the numbers are low you can jump on almost on the day
  19. Yogi, Im not sure, he id run one about 3 months ago, but he lost $5-8K so I dont know how many more he will be running. I dont think he has booked any more days at this stage. I guess if he does not get enough support for these events moving forward he will have to stop running them AKA Moto concepts.
  20. Fixed, I look forward to re-doing all cct's on these slicks, they took a lot of time off my old times, perhaps I could start pouring some additional boost into the car and see what that does.

  22. 7 people paid, with 8 committed. Numbers looking good
  23. Thanks trublsm, It needs a wash at the moment, 2 track days and 5 weeks since it has seen a sponge. I missed you what were you in?
  24. Kero, Simply get your mate to fill in the application form, and on it is the payment method, which goes direct to Aaron. Let me know once its all done and dusted so I can update the list, from the looks of it SAU could be the majority of cars on the day. This means we will have an absolute ball!
