  1. does anyone have a lin k to the zed site?
  2. Not a lot of SAU people there but a great day even though I was only there for 3 sessions.
  3. I was on my way out to Oran Park with my MUM!, had a great arvo and clocked out a 51 sec lap on my sh!tty road tyres. Mum got to watch a drift session, and for some one who has never owned a car she is a smart one. She stated "Sh!t that must really wreck your car, and you need to be crazzy to drive like that" how true she was.
  4. Abo, Good luck with the repairs, Let me know if you need any parts and I will check my contact. Thanks
  5. Man in Bulk, All cars are welcome, it is a CARS/L2S day, but you will need a C3 to drive in the CARS sessions
  6. Ouch that hurts, its amazing what a little piece of hose can do. What are your next steps?
  7. Abo, What? whats wrong? NOOOOOOOO!
  8. John, Whats the track sheduale look like, ie what drive type and times. Whats the count how may cars do you have? Remember, you only have 4 days to not have your boat ready. Hmm I can already taste that bottle of 707 now.
  9. I would contact Duncan or Kel, they Organised mine in a matter of days.
  10. Yes, I we relegated to the Naughty mat once I returned to the pits, Tam (my wife) had Bailey (my little Boy) saying "No Daddy" putting me back in place. Drunken, yes I will try and look around for a set of R34 or R33 GTR rims and them some slicks, I think I would enjoy the confidence of better tyres. Rims first then hunt for some tyres. What are your thoughts, 17" or 18"?
  11. Just had a good look at some of the picks of my car cornering, it looks like the side walls are actually folded on the front left wheel, this might explain why when every I pushed the car too far I had traction issues. I might need to run more the 32 PSI?
  12. Everything else aside, 300+ is great well done. I will be returning to CRD with a pot belly cat and some variable cam sprockets and hopefully 300Kw for myself.
  13. Fats, Im 100% for the 14th Oct and if work allows, I will try and make the 29th as well. I was looking at your drift day, but I have a track day with UAS on Sunday, you know Im not really a drift boy, unless its raining then I will be there with bells on! Two days in a row out to Oran is a bit much, you only drift on your days dont you?
  14. voqi000, your on the list, as per duncans response I am just looking for numbers to advise EC next week.
  15. The days are advertised as Cars/L2S on their web page
  16. azzr32, see you there, your on the list. vogi000, Contact Dunkan or one of the other committee members. It takes 2 weeks for your book to come through, but you can drive on the day with a receipt.
  17. For this and all other questions it may be best to call them direct 96721000, but I thought I saw other cars with slicks last time I was out there, perhaps they were semi?
  18. Ok, Below a list of main pictured cars. Min71E R34 GTR201 Weapn SLY25L CYIFLY JAS25T NSM032 GTR032 2HP075 Two66L HUG32R (Twice???) AD91GM CWH08U VNOM GTR026 MPH 459 RNMENC I left a couple of ones out as I could not see the number plates
  19. I just went down and got a copy. No pics of my baby but I did get 1/2 a paragraph. I am disappointed they did not mention the Baby seat!
  20. Yeah I will have to spend a penny or two go wrap some decent 285 30's around the 18 x 11 rims. I have about 10,000 20,000 Km left in the tyres so should have some new ones after xmas.
  21. All, If you want to do a track day at Eastern Creek, this is the cheapest option since Moto Concepts were kicked out. It’s a Private practice day run by the ARDC, you will need a L2S or C3 licence to attend. There are actually 2 days. Friday the 14th Oct 05 and 29th Oct 05 Details can be found at http://www.eastern-creek-raceway.com/ Click on Private Practice. Cost $120 for the Day! You will need to be an SAU Member and part with $80 bucks for a CAMS L2S licence if you dont already have a CAMS licence. If you want tickets to the V8's then become a member of the ARDC ($150) and the cost becomes $80 for the day! Normal non flammable head to toe cloths and a Helmet will get you in, and a road worthy car, they do check them! These guys run the day very much like a race meet so they can waist a little bit of time being pedantic, but its always good value. With only Cars and L2S they are likely to run alternate 20 or 30 min sessions all day. Im going to the Friday and Maybe then again on the next one. Abo was keen as well. Please let me know if you want to come, and I will contact the creek to let them know the numbers. No need for deposits or anything, you can arrive on the day but they do ask you let them know so they can balance numbers. Please dont commit unless you are 100% coming, no keyboard warriors, I dont want to advise the ADRC we are coming with 15 cars and only have 5 turn up. If you commit, the only excuse I will accept is a dead car or family member. I will continue to update this post with names. 14th Oct 05 Oz GTR - R34 GTR azzr32 - R32 GT voqi000 - GTS Zane - R33 GTS Beer Baron - GTR 29th Oct 05 Neil Thanks
  22. I used my L2S yesterday, and I think you will find that if the event is run by a Cams affiliated club, then the L2S works fine. Attend a normal practice day and I think you need a C3. Im sure if you call and confirm this will be the story
  23. Yeah, top day, but a long one, 12 hrs door to door. The cumberland highway was closed due to a fire, ouch that hurt with an 18month old sitting in the back wanting his dinner! Yeah, I had some trouble keeping the car on the ground. It was only only my second time at the wake. Tyres were my biggest issues, my 24,000km old trampia's did no perform much at all. The car was moving quicker then the old R33, but abs kickin in as soon as I stomped the brakes and then the tyres heated up and went of in a matter of a couple of lap. Had the car working well by the end of the day but the lap times were not as quick as the out of control ones earlier in the day. I get a chance to redeam myself at the next UAS day at Oran. Thanks everyone for the day and wll done Abo, semi's make a big difference, wait to you really get used to them!
  24. Wet / dry I dont care, it will be fun either way
  25. Fats, Im on shitty 20,000km old tyres, I dont really expect to do much time wise, but your tip has been noted.
