  12. Hey nismogts-x Calm down and listen Your two photos sho Fa of teh head just of teh top of two very different manifolds NICs 12 dual intake runners and the HR31 Eccs 6 runners but both go into the same butterfly plates into the same 12 port head. take the manifolds of either of those engines and your still going to get this http://www.users.bigpond.com/maytech/skyli...b20eccshead.jpg I know Ive dont many times. Works Auto knows it too also having a HR31 Eccs 12 port head and his friend with a VL whos head been off twice another hr31 eccs 12 port head. As in we have done this ourselves we are not net parroting, we are not spreading hearsay, we are not quoting for somebody else who has done teh work.... 1st hand account Ego aside HR31 is 12 port either NICs or ECCS If we keep it one brief post at a time we can get through this and Im sure we'll all learn something

  14. NismoGts-x you said......... R31 ECCS RB20det has; 6 port intake cer turbo Both the HR31 RB20 have 12 port head round shaped intake ports on head R32 ECCS RB20det (pre 10/92) 6 port intake cer turbo round shaped intake ports on head Both the HR31 RB20 have 12 port heads!!!!!! And they carry over teh butterfly system of teh NICs Also from the 20 odd R32 front cuts and engines Ive had all have been BB the only 6 port ones Ive seen non bb have been cefiros as for diff ratios whats the autos ? cos every manual HR31 RB20det Ive had is 4.3 did they realease an even higher one? also traction control? The Extra block weight is a surprise that I didnt know Also in reference to tune I thinks Works is refering to WA where nobody I know can chip and dyno the older ecu... Tell me more about this 12 port being better than 6 port Ive retained my 12 port head instead of going to a spare 6 port can you post something for me to look at

  21. alloy transfers heat faster than stainless soaks faster and disapates faster stainless take longer to soak but will retain that heat longer mild steel is what you use when you dont care about what gets inhaled into your engine coat it you;d be surprised how much rust wants to pop back out of welds as for flow material co-efficient i dont really think thats relevant in the practical world also boost meister mention of forcing "extra" "un-natural" flow by having the bumper angle in is excellent like a cooler ram scoop
  22. worcks auto in bentley have a selection of big rims sus em out
