After the success of our first Drift Skills Day, Calder Park and the Victorian Drift Club are proud to announce Drift Skills 2 This day is aimed at improving the basic drift skills of all drivers, from absolute beginners to well practised drifters. The state's best drivers, including Michael Truscott, Luke Fink, Khudar Elhaouli and Chris Dejager, will be on hand to give you personal advice and tips.
While the technical side of drifting will be addressed, the emphasis will be on practical skills and so you will spend most of the day in your car doing various exercises. And at the end you'll even get some time on the main Calder Park circuit to show off your newly polished skills.
The day will run from 9am-5pm and a barbecue lunch is included with the $160 entry. Bring your car and a helmet, wear long pants and long sleeves and you'll be set for the day. Drivers need to pre-enter by calling Calder Park on 9091 0800. Spectators are welcome too, $10 entry on the day includes lunch.
Tyre chaning facilities will be available on the day, free for drivers.
