  1. I have living in Japan since 2001. From my experience, I would have to say that driving on japanese roads is quite dangerous at times. As mentioned by others, I don't understand where they have gotten the idea that by putting on the hazard lights it makes it ok to park the car anywhere. Living in the countryside where streets are narrow just compounds the problem. Another thing to mention is that there are too many old people driving!!! They drive too slow and then there's the young drivers and they drive too fast, then there's the kamakazi truck drivers then there's the chick's doing makeup ... the list goes on. When Japanese get behind the wheel, it seems as though all concerns for the safety of other goes out the window. That's why when driving in japan you have to be on full alert. that's my 2 yen's worth.
  2. I have an r32 gtr with the d jectro pfc. My tuner just spliced 1 map sensor with the fuel pressure regulator line and the other into the bov line. It has never missed a beat. I later changed the intake manifold gaskets with hks ones and at that time I decided to drill the holes and connect it as per the manual. I saw no difference. Me thinks the idling is worse than before. The nuts under the manifold took forever.
  3. I have an R32 Gtr which I recently changed the stock intercooler to a HKS GT intercooler (100mm thickness). Would I need to retune the computer???? The mods are as follows: Nur Eng, PFC D-jetro, Boost controller, Pods, Cams, standard exhaust manifold, HKS Downpipes, Veilside straight through exhaust system.
  4. I had this problem when I changed my r32 gtr stock calipers with brembos. I found the best thing to do was to order them from nissan. the bolts should be m12x1.5. you could always check b going to the diy center and buying a couple of bolts and try it out..
  5. I ordered the bolts for the Brembo's from my local nissan dealer. I got the bolts today. I have now verified that the bolts from the stock GTR calipers do not fit on the Brembo's. The pitch is different. GTR sumitomo's are M12x1.25, Brembo's M12x1.5. I hope this helps others who buy R32/R33 Brembos to put on normal R32 GTRs.
  6. I just had a another look at the brembos... The standard GTR sumitomo bolts are the right size except for the pit h. It seems as though the pitch of the thread of the brembo caliper is different. Looks like its 1.5 where as the bolts are 1.25 ??? I'm gonna visit my nissan dealer and to verify this. But I would like to hear from anyone who is familiar with this situation. Cheers
  7. Are there any specific markings or part numbers on the brembo calipers that will help me identify it???
  8. Removing the fuel pump isn't hard ... There is a clip at the back. Look at the picture and this should help you. Cheers
  9. I just bought some R32 Brembo calipers and rotors for the front to replace my standard sumitomo calipers. However it seems that the bolts from the standard calipers don't fit the brembo calipers. The holes on the brembos are smaller so the the bolts don't fit. Can someone verify this?? Any help is much appreciated.
  10. Sl33py, when you say "it was the rack", what exactly did you replace???? the whole rack??
  11. Can anyone tell me if you have to remove the whole rear member in order to change the 2 bushes that the diff attaches to (which is part of the rear member)?? My bushes are totally shot and I'm thinking is an easy task to remove just the diff or a headache to remove the whole rear member. Any advice/help would be much appreciated.
