Morning Mangs, Business as usual tonight? Just sent my ECU down to Nistune for the new chip and so he can put a base tune on for me. Going to be a big weekend this weekend trying to get everything ready for Monday/Tuesday. Want to have the car ready for the first happy laps of the year if not I'll either have to come as a passenger with someone or ride the bike What's going down in here?

New ford coyote 5.0l comes supercharged in the FG GT model. 335kw. Some tuner down south has added an intercooler, smaller pulley on the supercharger for more boost and has cranked out 500kw atw. Very cool motor, pity it comes in such a sack of a car. I'm waiting for someone to put one in a GT40 kit car or something, that would be awesome

Early January swapped my R31 sedan for a Kawasaki GPZ250 which has turned out to be more trouble than its worth. Ran fine for the first 6 months of the year but I think it has had about 4 weeks on the road for the other 6 months lol. Fixed it again over Christmas hopefully it will keep chugging along long enough for me to get my R license and I can upgrade to a newer 600. Car wise my GTR has been fine this year only put 20kish?? on the clock this year since moving closer to work and uni. In the middle of the year it started making a weird noise which turned out to be the manfiold/turbo gasket on the rear turbo. Spent my christmas pulling it apart with Dad and fitting new -7s, R34 Dumps and a new front pipe. Just need to finish putting the intake side back together and install the new fuel pump, injectors and cam gears and then it is ready for a tune. Hopefully crack 300kw. Also bought another R31 midway through the year. Went halves with Dad. This one is an R31 Ute haha. It's a bit of a wreck at the moment but it is a cool project for Dad and I to work on and hopefully get my little brother in on it aswell. We bought a donor car just before Christmas so we should be fairly busy for the next few months getting everything off the donor car into the ute and sorting out the paint/bodywork. Plans for the year to try and get to a few proper track days out at QR or Lakeside and see what times I can get.

Line is too short. It's only 10mm but the hose looks pretty tired anyway so may aswell replace it. Back at work, industrial RDO = 6 guys on site not including us. Busy busy day

Mangs, Last day of holidays for me Sadly didn't get everything finished on the GTR. New turbos are on but the oil drain hose for the front turbo is now too short to get onto the block. so tried to get a length of hose today and the only place open didn't carry any that size, I'll have to sort something out in the week. Also forgot to buy gaskets for the dumps to the front pipes and Autopro failed me once again by only having 1 gasket in stock. Other than that the break has been a relative success. All the hard part is done with the turbos so now all I have to do is fit the intake stuff and remainder of the exhaust and then sort out a bracket system for new pod filters. Then the only other thing to do is install the new fuel pump and get it to Dans/EFI for injectors, cam gears and a tune. Also managed to get the bike running again with Dad's help and helped Dad swap the suspension over into the ute. Once the GTR is sorted we can focus a bit more on getting the motor in the ute and everything up and running. I think next up Dad wants to strip and paint the engine bay. Boz that sounds like a perfect excuse for manual conversion. Do et! Brandon I can't do this weekend because I'll be finishing everything off on the GTR ready for the cruise the week after. Maybe the third weekend in January? or is that too close to Straya day? I dunno either way we'll get something sorted.

Gtr has one turbo back on. Spent yesterday chasing parts an fixing the motorbike. Should have it back together Saturday i reckon maybe. Apart from one O2 sensor.

We needed a motor for the ute so instead of just buying a motor and box we decided it was better to just grab a whole car. Should keep us fairly busy Morning Mangs
