Take it to court and they will thank you for pointing out the error. They will then correct the error and charge you a court fee and probably an increased fine for wasting their time..

Ceramic 5 Puk Clutch
Beelzebub89 replied to DGK33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Button clutches love to be driven hard thats what they're there for. Fast gear changes on track and good launches down the strip. Its when you start to drive them normally that you get more slip and more wear on them. Unless it is a drift car or a dedicated track whore I don't see the point in a button clutch. There are plenty of manufactureres that are making decent organic clutches now and you can always talk to Jim Berry and get yourself a nice single plate clutch from him. All the feel of a stock clutch but able to handle a lot more power.. Just my 2 cents -

I'm looking to buy a GTR in the new year so I'm basically in the same boat as you. I've looked at a shitload of cars from dealers and there are a few lemons getting around. What I've decided to do is what Pattygtst & r34nur are suggesting. Have a look on carsales for a GTR that has had a recent rebuild. Make sure they have receipts and do all the usual checks etc. At the very least with an R32 I would be looking for a car that has had the turbos either replaced or recondition, as an absolute minimum. On a car that is 14 - 19 years old the original turbos are not going to last that long. Good luck with you purchase hopefull you find a nice one

Ceramic 5 Puk Clutch
Beelzebub89 replied to DGK33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Will be slipping because of your driving style before anything else I think. Button clutches are not for everyday driving. Pretty sure you wouldn't generate enough heat with normal driving and that will cause the ceramic material to wear quicker. They also hate being ridden. -
Integrale ftmfw! Where is that car and how much?

Price Of Cars Vs Price Of Parts
Beelzebub89 replied to rtune's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
They will always survive. Nobody modifies everything all at once. Most of these built cars are from projects that span 4 or 5+ years. Its not like they purchased all of these parts in one massive hit. People aren't going to start to buy an already built car just for its brakes because it seems like good value when you compare the price of the brakes and the cost of the complete car. At the end of the day modifying a car is still a very personal experience and many people do it just for the build because its what they enjoy. As long as there are people who are willing to modify a car then the parts suppliers are going to be fine. No matter how extortionate the prices seem. -
Price Of Cars Vs Price Of Parts
Beelzebub89 replied to rtune's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Its always been like that though. People need to realise that modifying a car does not necessarily increase its value. Cars like this have a very niche market with few people who are willing to spend that kind of money on a weekend toy. I don't see the point in modifying a car to that extent only to sell it on. If I ever do a build like that I will be keeping it forever. The cost of shipping that car overseas to where ever he is going to work would be minimal compared to rebuilding the same car. I just don't understand why you would sell it... -
Hks Japan 2.8 Engine Build
Beelzebub89 replied to elrodeo666's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Definetly will be following this build. This is exactly what I would like to do to a GTR if I had the money. Good luck with the build and make sure you take lots of photos -

I don't think anybody watches Top Gear for facts and technical information. People watch the show to be entertained and Clarkson, Hammond and May are great entertainers. If you don't like the way it is presented now don't watch it. Simple eh.

Did they get to 4 engines n just think ah what the hell may aswell do five...absolutely awesome. i guess it would be fairly complicated hooking up 5 engines to one drivetrain. Does anyone here know how they do it?
