  1. I don't want to go to a meet where we end up standing around in a car park. I'd rather go somewhere for dinner or coffee whatever so you can sit down and talk shit rather than standing in a car park looking like a bunch of tools. My 2c.
  2. P Platers/Skids will happen as long as the meet is in Browns Plains lol. That is the nature of the beast. In other news mangs. Just sent this guy a text low balling him for his 31 lol. 31 Ute Donor Car
  3. Mangs, Just got my coupon deal for the archerfield go karting. I sent a text to whoever I've got numbers for. Get on it, the deal closes in 4 hours. Once we know who is in we can organise a date. Link to the SAUqld thread below. The other link to the coupon is also in this thread on page 880 or 881. Kartin SAUqld Thread
  4. Yeah, It will be bullshit expensive aswell. Atleast the F3 is semi reasonable for a bike of that caliber. I'm guessing the 1199 will be 35k+ on road. Yeah they're pretty crazy. I would run out of talent way before you get to what either bike is capable of, but I'd have a load of fun trying lol Power to weight on the 1199 is nearly the same as an F1 car lol.
  5. Or just go all out and get one of these Duc 1199. It's 9kg lighter than the F3 with 70hp more.
  6. Yeah very much so. I'm planning and scheming lol. Won't be looking at it until I get back from Europe next year though. Dad is going to let me ride his bike until then once I get my license though so that should be fun lol.
  7. Excellent news mate. Good work
  8. Anyone else keen for this? Go Karting Brandon posted it on FB. I'm keen it's cheap as shit.
  9. I just started teaching my little brother how to drive manual. Pretty much everything was covered by mlr. Just remember to keep yourself calm and not panic them if anything goes wrong. My dad used to get me to commentate on everything that was happening in front of me and whatever I was doing. Approaching roundabout, indicate, car entering round about on the right, 60km/hr sign etc etc. Gets you thinking about everything that you should be looking for unconciously.
  10. Because the Project Engineer isn't here today. And I hate him.
  11. Sikaflex. Or any kind of polyurethane adhesive. Don't use double sided tape.
  12. Yeah moving up over time hence a boatload of experience. Qualifications get you in but its how well you actually do the work and the right people know that you do the work well lol
  13. Yeah you don't get to Project Director on jobs that size by being useless lol. Most of those guys have got shitloads of experience on big jobs. I'll be happy looking after (read - f**king up) a small bit of rail somewhere or a bridge or some mine facilities. Much easier than residential construction
  14. Yeah + overtime and all the other allowances. Minus the cost of food and living expenses out there it would end up being quite a bit more. Yeah it depends on the work you do aswell. I find most of the consultants and IT people get the better rosters. For the kind of stuff I'm looking at, supervision/site engineer/coordinator what ever they want to call it, the best roster would probably be 2 weeks on 1 week off. For Multiplex the standard is 3 weeks on 1 week off. I'd probably prefer it that way as you get f**k all done in a week anyway, long term planning especially would become a pain.
  15. 7 on 7 off is a f**kin epic roster. 20k more to work 6 months of the year lol. Sounds like a decent deal. I'm waiting to hear back on whether our stuff out in WA is going to take off. But our rosters are shit and it's only 40% loading.
  16. You suck Noel
  17. Nice. Work is shit today, hopefully get out of here on 5. Sick of the place lol
  18. Yeah don't listen to most places lol. Option 1 sell em for $220 I think fitted in those sizes. You don't want to be paying much more for them than that.
