Sarp Mangs! BDO was awesome. Although we spent all our money and couldn't afford the bus/cab back to Surfers so we ended up walking from Parklands to Surfers. Took us like an hour n 45 mins to get back. Got to bed around 2am and then up at 5 to come in to work Running on Mother and coffee

Morning Mangs, Went for beers yesterday afternoon at the Hamilton Hotel. Ended up winning a meat tray from the raffle and having a BBQ at the Site Managers house at Enoggera Terrace lol. Was a good night. I'm f**ked this morning for work though. Not much on for today. Working till 1:30-2ish then I'm gunna go home and get my COD on and chill before BDO tomorrow. Great success.

Beer time a bit later for us. Hopefully it's like now.

So if you have your tickets why not just go and get a job with an earthworks company? Surely there are some of them in Mackay. Before you go and try to get a job I would highly recommend adjusting your attitude. This is a public forum and by acting like you are on here you aren't giving any potential employers on here a reason to hire you. Having an attitude that only you have ambition because you want to earn 60k+pa at 17 is laughable. Take Warps advice, go and do what is needed and show employers that you aren't just a kid with a false sense of entitlement. Work ethic is the most important thing for employers especially when they are looking at hiring young people. Be realistic, you're 17, you don't know everything, you have very few qualifications and very little experience. What you should have as a 17 year old coming into the work force is a solid work ethic and a willingness to learn. Good luck, hopefully you take some of the advice from this thread and stop being such a dickhead

Hey you know what we do have that's kinda like a plane car. Planes! It's amazing eh. I'm extremely thankful we don't have everyone flying around Fifth Element styles. People these days have enough trouble driving a normal car. Add in an extra dimension and all the other controls that go with it = disaster. These road trains look pretty cool though.

Had a morning tea this morning to raise funds for the qld flood appeal. Everything that got donated Brookfield is going to match. So far from the head office sites in Brisbane we've raised nearly 13 grand. Solid effort by everyone
