  3. hey guys, its time to replace the diff and i wanna give it ago myself because i dont have the spare cash to pay labour. so im looking for a direct bolt on replacement so i can keep the modifying to a bare minimum. obviously the R32 diff will bolt straight on but id like to go for a diff a little newer, like a R33 diff. later model ie "newer diff". Ive been told that the backing cover needs to be swapped for the diff to fit the R32 but what about the V spec diff? any help here would be awesome.

  6. best campaign ever for an RTS! this is a sweet as game but.... the online feature lick balls! you can be waiting for up to 15 minutes for a matched game? so i was wondering if there are any online players? you can get a game much faster if you are linked with other people :S

  10. im looking at buying and fitting a 2nd hand G/box and rear diff but some1 told me to put some shock proof in there first? is it worth trying it out? or should i just get another g/box fitted? the gearss dont crunch or anything but they certainly dont glide in like they should, i have to hold the clutch on the gripping point for longer to get a smooth change. as for the diff i have some backlash, can u use redline in there to?

  12. Hmmm, i got the same problem my O2 sensor feedback is set to on but the O2 reg is set to off? what does that do? also my throttle bodies dont seal 100% due to the fact the teflon coating is no more.
  13. call up a brake place.... i just got quoted trade price, $34 each side for GTR calipers thats just a seal kit.
  14. hey man, what have you done to fix your headlights? on my other skyline the actual plug for the headlight was moldy and shot. there was corrosion into the wire and was giving it a faulty voltage in turn i was buying a new set of globes every 2 weeks lol. G E auto elec para hills is awesome, he helped me find why my car was mysteriously cutting out speak to george
  15. nah they werent just painted.... ill try to explain it lol. on my calipers the "nissan" is popping out a little, the writing. on the other calipers i saw the nissan was flat, it wasnt popping out? also the actual housing of the pistons (where the nissan is printed) mine is not defined, more flat then circular shaped? if that makes sense lol. ill look at the brembos and see if they look similar.
  16. hey all, i always thought my calipers were just 4 pot and there was nothing else to it? but today i saw another R32 GTR with tight as brakes! they were gold and im pretty sure they looked like "brembros"? but they had nissan writting on them??? so its come to my attention that there must be different brakes that came out with different brakes? any1 know cheers?

Recent update i recently replaced the rear brake pads and bled the system made a slight difference but it still pulls ill bust off the front brakes and have a good hard look this weekend if all i need is a seal kit to fix the calipers then i can get them for like $40 each caliper ill have to inspect the front bushes, before i bought the car it had all new bushes installed so they shouldnt be the problem i will how ever have a good look at the fron bushes and castor arms
  18. ok so, obviously my car stil should have started even if water temp was high. ohh god.... another mysterious "my car wont start because its ghey" problem.... here i come.
  19. thanks alot man, i checked my over flow tank and it was empty so i topped it up. my actual radiator was a level though? its pretty dirtty though it well needs a flush. where is the bleed valve the rid the air though? Could my coolant problem be related to why my car didnt start?
  20. Hey guys, weirdest thing Happened today! I was driving for more than an hour and needed to fill up, so i stopped into the servo topped up and went to start the car and *doh* checked my PFC and it said my engine temp was 95C???? (Normal temp is 80C, ignition switched to "on", the car was not started). that was the only thing that i could see on my HC that was out of the ordinary? i left it for 5 mins and tried again and it started! so i nursed her home, keeping an eye on the temp which didnt go over 83 but even that is weird as its never gone over 80? when i got home is was gurgling like crazy? and i could feel air bubbles passing through the top radiator hose? Would my car not start because of its temp? any ideas guys? cheers

  22. if you dont have an aftermarket ECU, id be careful when playing with boost especially high amounts. you dont have any way to check you knock sensor so be careful
  23. i just got a PFC not long ago then had AFM problems >.< epic fail. i was going to switch to Z32s for the price apparently the 80mm with some force will fit into the stock rubber hosing to the turbos. its just the AFM attachments you need to figure out.
