  1. how worried should i be bout destroying the gearbox or auto trans in a awd, i've heard bout ppl stallin it up an taking off at 5000rpm an destroying gears...

  3. yep thats the price of premium, so $1.50 isn't all that much when u compair it to that, an it'll probably hit $2.00 in the next few months

  5. seen a black r32 in last weeks trader for $7900, in good condition, even has a few goodies eg. cooler, aftermarket fuel pump... giv it a ring if your lucky it mite still be there...

    from my experience they're gut less of the line... i used to have no problem taking 1 in a completely stock 33, but from 60 no chance...

  8. what are ppl payin for insurance on them, i done an online quote today it ended up being $3300, that seems a little excessive or is that just me...

  10. not interested in wrx's heard about and seen to many things gone wrong with a used wrx, news ok but out of my budget, i was told i could get a r32 gtr in really good condition landed and complied for 17k, but the more i have the better, as for the 33gtr it is a possibility, i mite be willing to increase my budget slightly if the right one come round, my boss picked up a really nice r34 4door a month ago for 16k, so they are out there just gotta be patient and keep an eye out...

Finally after going on 9 months of my car sitting at the panel shop, my insurance has finally desided that it isnt worth fixing and are just gonna write it off so now i have to move on . and thats where i need help i'll have bout 17-18k to play with. i would like a r32 gtr but everyone keeps telling me they're too old, too expensive to fix, an insurance will cost a fortune, so i would like to get the opinion of some one who actually owns one. apart from the gtr im thinkin bout either another r33 gtst, a r34 gtt, or a chaser. but would consider pretty much anything (aslong as i can fit in the drivers seat, being 6'4" causes alot of problems).

  15. when my car got stolen the police had nothing but accusations and abuse for me( just cause they couldn't keep up with it in the 40+min chase they where in hows that my fault)

  20. having an alarm doesn't really make a diference may car had an $1500 alarm system and it still got stolen, the problem is most alarm systems are fitted with a service switch in the pillar or the lining in the roof, so all they have to do is find it an turn it off...

  23. hey hows it goin fellas, im not really new to the site i joined few months, haven't been spendin much time online since then, so i thought id reintroduce myself, so i can get to know every1...
  24. the purpose of the turbo timer is so the car can run for a bit to cool down the turbo if you've been thrashing it, you dont really need 1 you can just sit in your car for couple of minutes but most people are inpatient and prefer leaving it on and walkin away. theres nothing wrong wit your turbo, the standard boost gauge is in mm/hg not psi, so 3 is actually 7, so if it got up to 7 it would be 14 psi then you mite get issues wit your turbo. hope that helps
