  1. Pfft I was 0.05 seconds off. (you do know that drag radials are considered street legal?) I'm not a "skyline person". I don't even own a skyline, I just know they are better than corvettes. This "oh we have to respect all cars" crap is exactly that - crap. In life, some things are better than others.
  2. The Lingenfelter Corvette that does 9's on drag radials is the 427cu (~7litres) twin-turbo, the small block ones do 10's or worse. And FYI, the Veilside R32 does an 8.6 1/4 on Nitto's, not to mention plenty in that class that are only a few tenths behind. And there are shitloads of private street-legal GTR's in Japan that do 9's.
  3. An R32 GTR is still an R32 GTR any way you look at it. And it will always be better than a corvette, unless you don't mind the corvette's comparitively wobbly body, inept braking, poor build quality etc.
  4. I was reading some of the car reviews on carsurvey.org on GTR's (incidentally none have anything but a smiley ), anyway something caught my eye. According to one of the reviews of an R32 GTR, it's possible to put the 4wd computer thing from an R34 into an R32, therefore getting some of the finer tuning advancements Nissan made over the 10 years or so difference. Possible? Not possible? Should one do it? Will it screw up your R32?
  5. BT - Never gonna come back down They also do a good song with the roots called The Roots and BT - Tao of the Machine. Imo this song is crying out for a starring role as an illegal street racing video soundtrack. Turbo Dreams Skyline style anyone?
  6. Just curious if anyone has dealt with them before, and what their impressions, opinions or experiences they've had with them. They have some decent deals (and some bad ones ), but seem pretty professional. Btw this is their website - Street Machines
