  1. so at this setting u gave me it reaches 10.3 psi max? If i wanted to reach about 11 psi with the boost not dropping below 10psi..how would i set the settings? im not too sure how to do this percentage setting thing
  2. So what i was saying is, the warning alarm or light will come up if it spikes past the desired warning psi right? Did u try my setting by any chance ?
  3. don't know anything about safc but if it works for GTT R34...ill take it for $250
  4. Set: 45% Gain: 20% Set Gain: 8.7psi Those are the high boost settings which makes around 11 psi boost like 10minutecar and also drops as much as he does (to about 9 psi)... Do the other settings affect the boost or performance wise at all or are they just extra features such as warning alarm and etc? Also does the setting you have spike boost at all? And if it does spike the warning alarm will go off right?
  5. Cuz ive got it installed and set by UAS, i didn't really wanna touch it so before i do this how do i check wat the original settings are currently? what do i turn or press on the EBC? thanks alot by the way
  6. oh great! since we're both using the same cool EBC could u gimme some advice on how to set the settings to hold 10psi boost please? from 1st step to last as ive never tried to touch the EBC myself but will do with the help of a pro
  7. Think you should install a intercooler waterspray or go FMIC cuz i reckon even at 180kwrw the SMIC isn't doing such a great job for my GTT R34 especially in summer hot days...
  8. just a question would a exhaust manifold leak cause the boost drop as mentioned before from about 11psi down to 9psi as well? or will it never even reach the 11psi in the first place?
  9. is it possible to use a r32 actuator inconjunction with the EBC by any chance?
  10. oh alright...yer btw mine is a gtt r34 with a stock side mount...so where do i actually touch to be precise and compare? which 2 areas do i examine?
  11. Doesn't do that for me on my GTT R34 side mount, its bloody hot on both sides...wats the go? mines broken aye?

What? im so newb and confused....its reading empty but how do i know if its actually empty??? lol Its just reading empty b4 i filled the tank...but the thing is when i filled up 1/2 a tank....a second later when i started driving the needle drops like 2mm...is that the same problem as 50000 other ppl ?
  13. The only way to check out is by using a boost controller and boost it to 7 psi to see if it reaches that....cuz if it doesn't reach then thats a problem... Dun think R33 should go higher than 7 psi without a front mount I/C...but u can go up to 12 psi safely with a Front mount I/C
  14. Well the head gasket used to leak with oil cuz it wasn't tighten down properly but now that it has been tighten down.... Its not much of a problem is it if its leaking? i may as well live with it?

The needle for the fuel gauge was on empty, and when i filled up at the servo it was 1/2 a tank...then after i drove for like 2-3 mins the petrol dropped quite abit (like 2mm) and it was noticeable...I thought my car was FULL running rich but then later it didn't happen after that once.... And no its not the road causing the fuel to tilt one way in the tank showing inaccurate fuel gauge becuz it was a flat road all the time and ive observed thinking it may of been that but it wasn't.... What da hecks this? i lost so much petrol for nothing? Is it the emergency tank thing getting filled up cuz it was empty before or wot? Come onz i dun wanna keep losing petrol like this...is it just that it was on empty before i filled up thats why?? thanks GUYS!!!
  17. its kinda like oil heat smell yer...i was guessing it might be but it did the same on my R33 too...wats the coincidence of 2 of the cars leaking oil, but it seems to only do it on higher boost so i was thinking maybe its just the smell of the heat on higher boost?
  18. Does anyone else have this smell when gunning the rocket GTT R34 ? with higher than stock boost? Im not destroying the turbo am i? its just wearing like a turbo usually wears with full throttle right?

  21. Hey guys again, im running 11 psi boost (High) with only cat back exhaust and pod filter with NO FMIC... Whenever i switch it to high boost (11psi) and go full throttle i can usually smell something like burning coming from under the bonnet area (can usually smell it as the window is open)...Just wondering if this means im destroying the turbo whenever i smell this or its just normal for such heat without FMIC (as i understand SMIC on GTT R34 is alright for under 200kwrw, as im running 178kwrw)... You guys are a great help by the way, so i'd like to take your advice on this as well. Thanks again
