Im so lost about a/c and how it works in cars...Whenever i turn the air conditioner on in the car, it leaks water underneath the car...Is that supposed to be normal or not??

Is it possible to tell whilst driving if the manifold gasket is blown? Does it have any sound like "winding" or "leaking"?

heheh pinging aye? i just got confused cuz whenever i said pinging before some told me its PINKING then when i say pinking some say its pinging so i get confused...so i use detonating now Anyway it ticked whilst the engine was ON not off by the way, if that changes anything? When det/pink does occur, will it happen constantly? and when it does will it only give out sound when turbo is at boost? or does it also occur at vaccum (car stationary)?

Try gapping plugs down to 0.8

Im not really sure what detonation or pinking is supposed to sound like...but all i know is that when it occurs it makes a loud "tick tick tick" or "knock knock knock" sound... Today ive been kind of thrashing my car during quite a hot weather on about 10.8 psi...After i brought it in to a garage for cooling i just opened the bonnet, and it gave out a "tick" sound but it wasn't constant, then a minute later it gave another "tick" sound coming from the turbo side of the engine i THINK?? Then later it didn't happen again but im just worried thinking maybe its just the start of my turbo detonating or maybe because its just a hot weather its making those sounds... are you sure it even comes from the turbo area?? does it come from the right side of the engine???

so have you tried it yet grant? i only ask cuz i have the similar sound ur having hi-pitched metallic sound but very hard to hear in the open and can only hear when in an en-closed area like a garage... but the headlights on would make it alittle louder than it is..

hey mate, check if it gets alittle louder when you turn on your head lights...and see if it goes quieter but still there with the headlight off...

As the weather is getting very hot and ive been relying on my GTT intercooler running 171kwrw with roughly 10.8psi boost level but everything including exhaust is all stock. Im wondering if its safe enough for my car to run on 10.8 psi with no front mount in such a hot weather but not thrashing as much but maybe once in a while. I also understand it may be more relevant to how much kwrw rather than boost level but incase i wanted to confirm with you guys... Im concerned especially because after i gun it on 10 psi, it gets REAL hot under the bonnet around the intercooler area...Am i supposed to just expect this with standard gtt intercooler? because its not like i trash it all the time...
