  1. man this race calculator is BS! It measures hp at flywheel lower than the stock hp! da hecks going on here? if its rwkw i understand
  2. ill prob go in i never have been and wanna practise before timing
  3. oh alright, the thing is i could never understand how much power a car made by looking at mph. For example, mine in my sig how would u determine that?
  4. yep but could also look like a tool too lol i had couple of ppl asking me why i leave my engine on.
  5. lol npz ill be there in near future. Just a question though, about UAS in ur personal opinion are they accurate? apparently Tim from UAS says it reads generally lower especially on cold weather and not hot (due to some adjustments made for weather changes). What is ur opinion on this? I only ask cuz u said on a cold weather ur dyno kw was better than it was on a hot weather.
  6. lol dirtgarage, for the record i don't take john's word and where ive heard this is from a mate (customer of CRD owns a WRX) who dyno ran and pulled 180kw then went to Autotek and pulled 150kw. And now i don't know how the weather was like but it shouldn't of made more than 10kw difference if it were to be accurate. And please don't tell me autotek is just inaccurately low, cuz then how would they get business for tuning? lol anywayz no offence to CRD affiliates like youself P.S. im only giving my opinion here from my experience and my friends experience, and please don't take anything offensive or you might break my engine when i go to u to rebuild it
  7. ah yer i agree hitman is the best for tuning but regarding power runs does hitman show generally accurate kw? So what i mean is, after hitman have tuned ur car, have you actually went elsewhere to dyno run and see whether it is actually 60+ kw?
  8. WHAT? how come when ive used the autosol metal polish, it didn't come up clean as new? Should i rub it HARDCORE for 30 mins straight? no seriously do i? :|
  9. so if its discolouration from exterior, then use the plastic cleaner is it? will it be clean as new? cuz the metal polish thing didn't work for my headlights
  10. i think everyone swears not just you mate but i reckon ppl try not to act like themselves at work cuz its an business environment. So why don't you try adapt to it or leave the work? I'd click it if some fag next to me kept swearing out "f**k!" everytime something went wrong, i mean who do they think they are?
  11. Mine stock pulled: 160kwrw mark With Cat back : 175kwrw So full turbo back should expect up to 180kwrw im assuming? But then i read this thing about how an extra dump pipe could give loss of power without tune. Also, what i'd like to know is which shops dyno run reads higher or lower. Apparently UAS claims their dyno reads lower than others, and thats where i did my dyno run. Belgarage, i heard reads accurately lower than others as well. CRD, apparently reads too much higher than other places that ppl coming from CRD to dyno at other places get dissapointed with their runs. Are there any more opinions on which place is accurate?
  12. sorry to ask but im really curious what the 1/4 time would be on this car?
  13. lol come on now no need to be like that
  14. yer well anyways i guess ur just bloody happy to soon have ur own skyline, cuz to me it was a dream come true when i first bought it and couldn't get over it till nearly 10 months later lol
  15. mate did your engine turn off when this happened? cuz if it did its most likely the incorrect wiring of your alarm system
  16. LOL! Ironically thats wat i used to say when i had a r33 to make myself feel better, until i actually got a r34 i realised i was just being a jealous boy heheh but i still love r33's but it needs a gtr wing
  17. huh? so adding a dump pipe *could* give power loss without any tune?
  18. hahah thanks for the help, also i shoulda done a search but i couldn't be bothered last night so late. yer the thing is i warm up the car every morning for about 10 mins, so i thought maybe i should change my way of warming up now if its bad for the engine. and no wonder my petrol always dissapears every next day lol Oh yeah another question, then if i wanted to cool down the turbo and engine after a long cruise/speeding, do i keep the car engine at idle for that? is that okay too? or do i just turn the engine off after few mins of turbo cool down for the engine to cool down best?
  19. nice man thanks for the vid LOOF!
  20. Yeah i doubt all 6 cylinder rings will be worn out, but my compression on Neo engine was all 150 mark, maybe rb20's are different cuz i read some other 32 reading real low around 100 as well. And also i know a mate who has a cylinder difference of 50psi from others and with a oil squirt it gets 170, which im assuming is the rings or the pistons itself however it runs perfectly fine and has great power on dyno without any loss so im confused to whether you should feel any performance loss or not lol
  21. Wouldn't be over-boosting, but sounds like a boost leak instead. Dun think it'd be the coilpacks though. Did this happen after you put ur BOV in by any chance?
  22. I always thought warming the car up in the morning at idle is a necessary thing to do, until 2 of my mates told me that they read its better for the car to breath air as they warm up so just to drive it normally without pushing it too much for the first 5 mins. Apparently its not too good for the car to be warmed up at idle, is this true? What are your opinions on this? (Im so confused)
  23. oh i get it. Just wanted to let you know, i got gear crunches on 5th gear at high speed once or twice so far (As i don't speed up to 5th gear often anyway) and also sometimes on 4th. But this isn't occassional, so is this quite normal?
  24. oh thanks 4 reply. i always thought skyline gearboxes were invincible heheh, but its smooth for now
