  1. Its the hex shaped 3" long thingy thats on the side of the head by the oil filler cover
  2. Housings are same Both have ceramic turbine wheel S1 have steel comp wheel and S1.5 & S2 have nylon/plastic comp wheel
  3. yes 1.5 and 2 are suppose to be the same unit S1 is a straight swap too .....only difference being the material of the comp wheel
  4. It might start and run like shit but it would be enough to see oil come up ooorr....put the afm on the turbo outlet / tb pipe
  5. Put the feed in a bottle or something tho and be ready to swicth off fast
  6. The way you put it i thought there was oil coming out...... I've never done it so not sure, but i dont see any pressure register on my mech oil pressure gauge when cranking for a while, but i do see the oil light come off on the dash and those two are side by side
  7. Well the oil pump is spinning at a few hundred rpm so the oil has to go somewhere
  8. Wow!...thats a lot of timing coming into boost What row do you use on full load? I'm assuming P16-17? Good to finally see a map tho....shows you got some balls
  9. Yea man already got some tiens which were stiff as fu&k but i swapped out the springs with some jic ones and that eased up the ruggedness a lot ....its still firm tho and the damper setting is all the way down I think i'll fiddle with the damper a little and see how that goes....dont want to compromise tractiion tho
  10. We'll its been a wk since driving around with the gtr bar and there is a noticabe decrease in body roll and so far no negative results tractiion wise I would have liked it a little stiffer tho........i think.... So if you can get your hands on a R33 gtr rear bar for small money and able to swap it out yourself id say its a very good upgrade
  11. How many holes in the nozzle?
  12. So i'm assuming it does not do it on the dyno at all?? If you have the hc go to ign/inj in settings and minus a few degrees at a time and see if it still does it
  13. yea in the pfc there are the two columns(injector) that you enter the change in size% and one for the change in ms...this is on the hand controller Now noticed in datalogit there is the same two columns as the hc and also an Inj lag(ms) vs. batt V table similar to the Vipec table so do you adjust anything in this table when you change the injectors or just the two column (injectors) table and leave it at that?? PM-R33 .... maybe vipec has this same overall setting change in the software so you dont need to change that actual table you mentioned??
  14. ^^^^^ I think this is the problem....i believe the the nismo 555cc yellow rb25 is 4 hole and the nismo 555cc pink rb26 is single hole....I have a set here and want to confirm if they indeed nismo... they are rb26 top feed type, Jecs, pink, single hole...hence i asked the question as i "heard" they suppose to be 4 hole Nismoid... Does nismo even make a 660cc top feed rb26 injector??? I think it was just 555cc pink and 600cc purple Any way see if you get those pics What duty were you seeing with the 600cc @ this power on 98?
  15. Isn't the rb26 top feed nismo injectors single hole ?? ie. both the pink 555cc and the purple 600cc ??
  16. Yea pfc for me You're using 555cc yellow side feeds?...If so i'd focus on the 14v value because basically this is the pretty much the operating voltage with the car idling so from the values you posted earlier i'd say youre very close ie. 14v -0.743ms..... nismos> 0.71ms what do you have it set on now?? how does it idle?
  17. Ok guys i believe nismo uses the same denso injector as tomei so may be these values can work> http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogue/efr_set-from_top-menu/efr_index_fuel-line_rset.html I see alot of guys use .71 for the yellow 555cc side feed nismo injectors also which kinda confirms it is the same injector as tomei because they recommend the same value so i guess .61 will work for the pink 555cc topfeed ???
  18. Anyone know a definite lag time value for Nismo 555cc pink top feed for rb26dett ?
  19. What diff? If tyre pressure is uneven you'll be constantly correcting especially with a mech. diff
  20. Sorry to say but there are very few guys who would help you out in this department and i understand where you are coming from, just wanting to see another table just for reference purposes and not an actual tune.....not sure how the software works? Not to mention vipec is "fairly" new to skylines so a lot less ppl have experience with them unlike the pfc wich every Tom Dick and Harry has and yet it is still very hard to get decent tuning info out of ppl here Good luck man
  21. Good point but what if youre running straight off actuators? My point is tho...... doesnt a change in cam timing have some effect on boost???
  22. eerrrmmm What does that do?
  23. Doesnt boost automatically raise when cam timing is changed via gears?? If so i think we're only seeing part of the picture as we cannot attribute those gains seen "just" as a change in cam timing but also an increase in boost Would have loved to see a boost plot on this graph too
  24. a tps just gives a 0-5v signal to the ecu so you can wire S1,S2, Q45 to suit Best bet will be a Q45 throttle body complete with tps and wire it to suit as others have said it bolts direct to the greddy plenum I think the S1 tps works on the Q45 tb as well
  25. Whats the latest guy:?
