  1. That brown box is just used as a junction for earthing
  2. And i guess the pfc works in the same manner????
  3. I used the Msd unit when i changed from auto to man and couldn't get the nvcs to work and u can't go wrong with this unit... Simple to install and adjust to any rpm up to 10k if u wish U don't want it on at idle bc it makes it idle like shit .... dont know how it will react with bidder cams tho Ended up sellin it tho bc its difference was verrrrrrrrry minimal on my stock set up http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MSD-8969-DI...S-/300399015408
  4. All rbs i have driven "hesitates" from dead cold but only takes a couple mins of normal driving to get it going smooth Does it always used to do it, or is it a new prob?
  5. Interesting...... I would think the Gt3082 might be the "laggy" one So does your set up make a nice streeter??
  6. So whats the verdict after the few wks of driving??? Laggy still? Or just progressive???
  7. No.... Re-read what Jd R33 posted
  8. Instead of running a hose around the rear of the engine u can connect the source from the plenum to the existing hard line that was originally used as the bleed from the solenoid back to the intake .... This is the blue line in the dia. U can make a loop from the "boost source" to where is labeled no. 9 and blank off no. 14 Use this to feed the new solenoid, disconnect all other hoses and run a new line from the solenoid with a T piece to split to the two actuators Some compressed air will help to identify hoses
  9. Anyone???
  10. I get all my pvc fittings from the hardware
  11. Hmmmm............
  12. The reason i ask is when i did a rb25det and now a rb26dett conversion into my C35 Laurel is does not cut the ac at high rpm/load etc. I am thinking the ecu for the particular engine cuts the signal to the ac compressor when it sees fit but apparently there is some other circuit that it needs to pass through??? Maybe only skylines has this circuit in the ac system???? On the ecu pin out there is the ac switch signal (pin 46) and ac relay/ ac cut signal (pin 9) that goes to a triple pressure switch thingy.... Can anyone tell me how i can get this feature to work?!?!
  13. Come on guys....I'm sure some one has S15 injectors laying around
  14. Do skylines switch off the ac compressor at high rpm??? Particularly the Rb25det equipped ones. If so at what rpm does is switch off and then come back on??? Thanks ooops...look like sau is givin some trouble
  15. Thanks
  16. Thanks
  17. Thanks
  18. Ok guys i know the S15 manual injectors are a terracotta color and the part number is 16600-91f00 but this number is not on the injector itself right??? Can i use the number that is stamped on top of the injector itself to determine if it is really S15 injectors, and if so what is the number??? Thanks
  19. With supporting mods u could probably see about 260-280rwkw
  20. Was looking into this again and realized that both the Ej20 single turbo and the Ej20 twin turbo have what looks to be the physically same yellow side feed injector. So the question now is...... are the single turbo yellow and twin turbo yellow JDM injectors the same size???
  21. Dyno sheets pls.....wanna see the boost referenced against rpm....and maybe a next vid
  22. No difference really......you can use an auto ecu to run in a manual, but u can't use a manual ecu to run in an auto
  23. Have u tried gapping down the plugs?......this has solved countless misfire issues
  24. Remember guys the VG30 has op6 on the ass end as well and its comp is not as large as the rb25
  25. I would say this is the key ingredient for the better output you have now and is typical power for both the original Garrett Gt3071 with the .82 rear end and the Hks Gt2835..... with the extra 10kw or so just being difference in dynos
