  1. Probably due to the fact its NA. Saw the same on a R34Gt.....no rear swaybar
  2. Gtst does not use the same afm as gtr . The differences between these afms is probably due to which one of the Rb26 it comes off of ie...r32/33/34. I would suggest you get the same as you have now because according to Apexi pfc there is different airflow curves between R32 and R33 even though they carry the same pn. You could also try re soldering them as it s known to be a common problem with age.
  3. Idler and Tensioner pulleys
  4. Yea...Just get a good connector and swap it out
  5. Found it....... Green(tq) / black(hp) = stock ecu 10psi nvcs off (huge dip due to R&R) Dark blue(tq) / Red(hp) = Tuned ecu 10 psi nvcs on from 1500rpm right up ( notice how it shits itself after 5000rpm) Orange(tq) / Light Blue(hp) = Tuned ecu 10 psi nvcs off ..so for reference from the graph at 3000rpm it makes about 10hp and 17 ft-lbs more when nvcs is activated
  6. Mine lost a shit load more than 10kw and also misfired with it on in the upper revs. I believe i posted a graph some where around....Cant find it right now tho
  7. Yea...I asked about this but no feed back so i'm waiting
  8. ^^^ Interesting....What was the cause?
  9. Whats the word on this guys?
  10. Double and triple check all the hoses around and underneath the plenum and make sure they not split and in the correct location, including the ones going to the bov, boost solenoid, brake booster etc. When it idles normal, is it pulling the same vacuum as it did before?
  11. You cant call that fuel anymore!
  12. You should also check your plugs as they may have gotten fouled from all that fuel dumped while testing
  13. No one here has enough balls to see what happens when you redline an RB, and as such no one really knows what are the long term effects. Maybe you could experiment a little and let us know, and shut up some of these know it alls on here
  14. Have you tried starting it with the stock ecu?
  15. 25psi at 4k is pretty impressive. I dont think i've seen anyone here hit that level of boost at 4k, normally would be 20-22psi and that would be with adj cam gears. I personally was able to get about 18psi at 4k (stock gears) but that was with no boost source to the actuators(8.8psi) and they had a reasonable amount of preload on them so i doubt they were being pushed open. Have a boost plot against rpm?
  16. Since we are on the topic.....How come the newer garretts dont have any sort of seal between the comp housing and the plate which it rotates on? Always wondered if boost wouldnt leak out thru there.....
  17. ^^^^ More than likely that would be the case. OP....Do you have a external oil cooler? Do you hit limiter often? You also said no tune....could be detonation??
  18. There is some difference between the two rails...Cant remember 100% but think its the way the small pipe (feed) runs along it. With that said I was able to swap a S1 rail on to a S2 engine and it bolted up normal with the inj in the same spot....so I guess that means that the manifolds are the same in that aspect at least
  19. Yea... this is choose between r32 and r33 gtr as they use different type O2 sensors. Not sure but the older pfc probably didnt have the option due to the fact that r33 wasnt even built at the time, but the newer pfc definitely has it. This needs to be on for R32 and off(+ sign) for R33 gtr But as mentioned before if you have O2 F/B control off, it should not make a difference
  20. Youre all wrong....Its a rb24 Its written right there on the cover!
  21. Youre screwing with us right?!?
  22. Makes perfect sense Jonno. Apparently the lag time I was using was totally off and had it going really lean. Thanks to Numleg on the forums I was able to get it set up right as he has the same injectors...Entered his setting and was able to get it really close to the original map fueling The problem of the rough idle still persist though and I think I will not be able to get it smooth running any leaner than 13.1afr Took it for a drive and with corr at 83% got good afr on load, Tried various setting of lag in 0.01 increments from 0 up to 0.16 and adjusted the fuel map to try get it to 14.7 but was rough at all settings I tried it as well with the ac on, had the two cells(idle and ac on) at basically the same value in the fuel map, made lag correction change till I got it to stoich (so basically that would be the equivalent lag as matched by the std injectors), switched the ac off and it was around stoich but really rough. I even fiddled with inj lag vs batt and also raised idle rpm and still no go. Dont know why the hell it idles perfect at stoich with the ac on and like a boxer with the ac off Anyway for those who may use Nismo 555cc pink top feed injs use 0.85 as the lag time and not 0.61 as stated on Tomei's web site.....I actually did see this value suggested a couple of places but thought Tomei had to know what they were talking about....boy was I wrong. And i'm 99.9% sure Nismos and Tomeis are the same Rob82.... I run Bkr7 at 1.1mm with splitfires. Doesnt the pfc lock timing at 20*?
  23. Ok good...Aem is sweet. Will be interesting to see what afr you ended up with on idle to stop it from missing.
  24. Hmmm.. 370/740= 0.5x100= 50% 0.66-0.528= 0.132 Do you have a wide band? If not I suggest you get one before going any further.
