Just a short follow up on my original post....well i bought the subframe lock kit (the alloy one) and installed it all yesterday. Very easy job took bout an hour in all and i aint no mechanic. I cant say that i noticed a massive difference in noise from driving. Back end felt kinda firmer, but maybe i was imagining an expectation. Did feel firmer though to me. Yeah removing the subframe looks like a prick of a job even on a hoist.......you would only replace the bushes for the rear subframe if you needed to do other bushes and/or replace upper and lower control arms for adjustables id say Anyways thanks for all your help to those who had input Mick

Seems like a much cheaper option, I thought that you would only have to lower the cradle to do the bushes.......by the way, the hicas has been completely removed and im running s13 gear, would this affect the part i would purchase (pretty sure the r32 and s13 are the same anyways)??? Wait no the parts are listed the same anyway on the link from JustJap. I think ive seen posts about the jjr bush kit on here. Do I really need to bite the bullet and replace the inner cradle bushes if they are leaking while i fit the jjr kit???

Hey guys, The rear subframe bushes are leaking in my r32 gtst, so to replace them I was thinking of getting the Whiteline rear subframe mount kit (part number W92446) through JUSTJAP. Does Superpro or anyone else manufacture the part I need, if so what are the part numbers?? Also, Id imagine the front also has similar sort of bushes which prob need replacing while Im at it.......correct me if I am wrong.........so what would i need for the front? I have searched the manufacturer websites but no one has many listings for skylines as you would all know. I have searched the forums to get some more clarity on this subject, but no one really lists part numbers. One last thing, those pineapple bushes(Subframe align and lock kit), are they worthwhile to fit at the same time?? (Whiteline part KCA349) Thanks Mick

Hey guys, I installed a new alpine cda117e head unit today (into a 32 gts) and works fine, however, i have programmed (press and hold the desired number 1-6) the radio stations in but when i turn the car off and back on again the stations are not in my presets. I have looked throught the manual numerous times but i cant seem to find any info that would help me store the stations.....i assume if i set the fader, balance, eq settings they too would be lost upon shutdown of the car, though i have not tried this yet. Does anyone have one of these units?? or does anyone have any suggestions as to why this would be happening?? Thanks for your time Mick

Hey guys, Was thinking of purchasing some new rims for the car and like the Gramlights. Does anyone have any idea on the offsets i should be looking at..........17x9 either a +12 or +22 offset is available. From what i have read its my understanding that a +12 offset would give a larger dish than a +22. Or have i got my thinking all wrong???? Would like a little bit more dish effect at the rears. Car sits a little lower, perhaps 15mm but that would be it. I have the crappy g4 adjustables also. Basically I dont want the tyres or rims to be hanging out the guards as seen in the black 32gtst photo below. I would prefer it to look the way my car is now........see below What do you guys thinks???? Cheers Mick

you say focal all the way.....im reading reviews and starting to think the same not sure whether i want to spend the 550 on v30 or the extra 400 say for the krx2(around the 900 mark). by the way i can get the x pro for same price as the v30 would i notice difference between the v30 and krx2??? almost double price thats all not competing or anything.....just for me to listen to

hey guys might not get many hits or responses but after opinions anyway.... looking to spend around the $800ish mark on front splits. i have been a devoted alpine sound man for around 13 years now and they have never dissapointed. so with that in mind have been looking at the 17pro. also have been looking at focal splits lately. namely the 165v30 and 165krx2. anyone had experience listening to these speakers???? if so what are your thoughts/opinions.....pro's cons etcs thanks in advance mick

hey mate, when my car was tuned it did the same sorta thing.......simple problem and wondering whether or not you have checked to see if your air filter plumbing is sucking closed. this would probably??? show up on tune graphs (a/r ratios etc). we reinforced it and hey presto everything ok. hope you can sort it out Mick
