i went there 3 weeks ago, the meet up is at the shell servo on the grand perade brighton, up bay st left on grand perade bout 200m on left theres a shell servo, at 730 pm meet, we left about 8, went to bondi than the back way to the cross and stopped and harrys, than from there went to granville twin servos and than to liverpool some cafe there, we took all the roads with twisties so it was an awesome ride, everyweek its different locations, so im actually going tommorrow with a couple mates, about 40-50 bikes atleast were there last time i went.

i ride an 05 r1, why dont you guys come to the wednesday night cruises held at brighton at 730pm? its on tommorrow night so it would be good to catch up and have a ride!!

it deffinately has something to do with ur wastegate actuator, i believe try changing ur actuator and see what that does, wen the gate or actuator doesnt open it keeps boosting, i dnt think it would be ur gate but u r better off getting a whole 3" dump pipe no plit, id change the actuator first to see if that works, i didnt read everything written but wen u go to put the rod on the actuator on the gate pin, u have to pull the rod out alittle to fit it, if it fits str8 on without pulling the rod out alittle u got it on wrong. also make sure u have a 1bar actuator on there not a 1.5bar. my 2c

yea ne turbo that keeps spinning for a few secs after u turn off the car will most probably be an upgraded turbo, u wont really hear it with a small turbo though, like str8e said take off the intake pipe and spin it, and check the shaft play up down in and out while u at it, if it is a small turbo making that noise it may be worn imo

u always get defected for adjustable/programable things no matter wat u do, u will always get devected for anything atmo and there is nothing stopping them eva from sending to the pits or emmissions. thats how stuffed it is.

i agree with abo bob, atmo bovs dnt work to well with the emission, as for map sensors, it will be alot harder to pass epa because the map sensor calculates air fuel ratios to my understanding... thats y u can still drive ur car when ur cooler pipe comes off. so in the rta epa and police eyes, nething atmo is illegal and not engineerable no matter wat. theres no saying y u can get a ebc engineered and the epa say its not legal no matter wat.. so if u do have a something defected for that is engineered, than i advice to take it to court, because u have the rta and epa, 2 government paid businesses whith both theyre laws cconflicting each others. they should be on the same level. the thing that gets me the most is a inclosed pod filter. that honestly bothers me. as for the screamer, i dnt mind the 300 fine as everyone used to say 1500 10k or 15 k :s

yea i know i thought the same, its not passable because it increases the induction noise and what not, as for the turbo timer, there is no fine to give out to that as for defect or epa or rta. and bov, if u get taken to epa and they see u there with a atmo bov, the epa will say to the cop fine and points. i got all this info from a epa tech officer.

Hey guys, ive been wondering wat is wat wen it comes to getting defected and called the rta who patched me thru to the epa, i spoke to the tech officer and he was a great help, now he said that police act on certain things differently delending on theyre knowledge, so here is some answers i got to some questions. most of these things are engeerable but will not stop u from getting defected for them again, hence i wrote not enineerable, for example, u will get defected again for a ebc, ecu even though theyve passed, but u wont get defected again for fmic that has been passed *screamer 300 fine defect no points will be asked for emmissions test *atmo bov $2 - 300, points involved and defect notice *pod always defectable, even if inclosed because increased induction noise fine noise polution $200 have to put stok box to pass *cat, starts at 300 up to 33000, u will get takin to courte depending on circumstances *adjustable ecu not engineerable have to get emmission test done *intercooler no fine, immissions test, legal for eva, engineers with emissions *zaust, noise polution, noise test *turbo timer is ok *oil catch can yes aslong as not atmo *high mount turbo yes as long as emmisions approved *fuel and internal upgrades ok as long as emmissions ***things that arent engineerable are adjustable fuel reg, adjustable ebc, adjustable boost contoller, screamer, cat, pod, nething atmo, as for engine stuff and nething adjustable. *A pilla boost guage is not legal, jdm spec models are not australian models, non safety for head crash u can always get defected even though u have engineering certificate, some engineers are bodgy, u can get asked for epa test 1 week later cause there is no saying it passed on less mods so to speak. wat was recommended is a emmissions test with engineers report so wen they look it over and dnt see nething extra they might think its ok, been done b4, **me ill take some pics of everything with the reports** i said the only thing that sux is that 1k for engineer report and still can get defected, is there a way to do so by seeing rta, epa and having them pass engineerable items, he said no. also said it sux with emmission because a diferent batch of fuel can end up stuffing it all up and cost another 1k to fix i will find out later wat u can be issued later for a red and yellow sticker for

power tune just gave my s15 sr20 303.6rwkw on pump fuel with over 100runs on the dyno and over 20hours in tuning, powertune ftw, car still has more in it, just need to sort out a surge tank now to finish it off map sensor ecu = 600 afm ecu = 500 best customer service and best tuner hands down.

neways, u always have a right to refuse nething, u will be taken in and processed, as for wat happens with the car i dnt know... and 4teecal im not beating on u here BUT yes police can edit the in car recorder. it happened to me. and i won cause there wasnt sufficient evidence to bak him up where i recorded the whole thing. i also got pulled over not long ago for holding an internet ipod thingy in my hand leaning my head on it while i was driving, and the officer was going to book me for talking on the phone, i stood infront of the recorder and said out loud "this is not a phone in neway, it has no phone capabilities, it is a internet ipod thingy made by windows" the only thing written on it was windows. never heard bak from him. thing is maybe i was on the phone

u do have the right to not open ur bonnet, but i dnt think many of us have the balls to do so, giving up the chance we might get thru with it clean, p.s. u can still get defected for a engineered item BUT they cannot issue u a fine. sux i know but they still do it just to be a pain. the only thing is even if u get epa'd and go spend 1k to get it tuned to pass, and u have the cert to prove it, they can still epa u again a week later... and thats f*ked cause u might have a different batch of fuel. i would always with out a doubt fight it. i found a very very affective way of having a cop not defect u for some things, is wen he says to u hes going to defect u for a undefectable or engineered item, like car to low or boxed up pod or a bov which u can fight... is stand infront of the cops car camera and say out loud i" am getting defected for an item i shouldnt be getting done for and i will be taking this to court. very affective. try it, i have for a few things and has always worked. BUT... MAKE SURE U RECORD IT ON UR PHONE 2 BECAUSE POLICE TEND TO EDIT THE RECORDING AND MUTE THE THING, just make sure after u press the record button, u let the officer know. it might let the cop know u will be taking it to court and he cant be stuffed or he knows he aint doing it right.

hitman has told me that the worst car that just makes the emmissions is a stock s15... its the worste to get epad on a s15 he says, he tuned a evo with everything, cams highmount, the works and passed frst go after tune.
