hey guys, im looking a fiting a NOS kit to my RB20, just wondering if anyone have had experience in fitting NOS kits to skylines. If you have, can u recomeded any brands that would be good. Im not looking for anything to X-treme, just something with resonable power shots. thanks for ya help

Does anyone know exactly how sequential turbos work, and wats involved in doing it?
-
no problems at all

hey guys, I posted some information about my RB20DET with twin stock RB20 turbos, but ive been hearing from alot on people that is is going to be extremely laggy. So ive decided to make to the turbos in sequential. We are going to put a valve in the exhaust manifold so that when one of the turbos is spooled up, the valve will open and allow the other turbo to spool up. i believe that another 1 way valve will be needed where the compressed air is , so that it wont travel into the other turbo while one is only spooled up. if anyone has any comments of knows how this works or if this will even work or ANYTHING please post thanks

how would 2 RB20 stock turbos run on a RB30? just asking coz im pretty sure the RB20 exhaust manifold bolts onto the RB25DE head, and i have a custom twin turbo RB20 exhaust manifold with two of these turbos.
-
hi guys, does anyone know where i can buy a non-turbo RB25DE head? and what would be a resonable price to pay for one? thanks
-
yer that would look very nice, So does anyone know what power a rb20 produces with stock fuel pump, injectors, afm. I heard from a previous post that a vg30 would max out these, what type of power does a vg30 turbo make on a rb20?
-
ok so there is alot of ppl out there that think its not going to work, well it anit costing much so thats cool. What single turbo would be equivent to 2 RB20's. A TD06?? Ok it will be laggy, but on a dyno with the ecu tuned, who much rwkw would u be predicting?
-
yer cheers, i think i will, just have to find the right place to go in perth. Say the stock turbos come on boost at 2800, ppl r saying two wont spool up until twice that say 5500rpm. But doesn;t the car produce more exhaust gas between 2800-5500 than it does from 0-2800. So wouldn't it take much less than twice the rpm??
-
well i wasn't to concerned about the power it wil make. I have a open mind about it, i just want to make the most power out of these 2 turbos at the moment. I do plan to drive it on the street, and drags aswell. If it is extremely laggy then i will consider smaller turbos, or doing a RB30 conversion. The main concerns i have at the moment are if my fuel pump, injectors, and afm, and ecu. Just wondering if u guys think if any of these things will be holding back my power?? Cheers

i put r32 turbos on coz i already had one. Does anyone know what type of injectors to get to support 280rwkw?
-
i haven't, just chose the rb20 ones cause i already had one. Does anyone know what a good set of upgraded injectors are for my rb20det, for 270rwkw
-
RB20 Cheap turbo upgrade.. few questions

how would a rB20 head go on a Rb30 bottom end, what type of internals could you use? -
Ryan in the red R33 hear, just to set the record straight troy and damo are the most pussiest skyline drivers i have ever seen. Both are too scared 2 push there cars to the limit both are crap drivers nether can put there cars sideways without spinning out of control. When you's boys are ready to play Ill be Drifting more sideways and racing harder and faster they both of you put 2gether. RED R33 DRIFTGOAT... BARR... BARR... BARR... mate 1.3 liter and u got a 2 haha and ill still beat u
-
troy is a dreamer he only tells people that his cars stock because it is stock full stop if u wanted a car u should of bought a camery with a blow off valve my rx-7 yeah it may sound like a wipper snipper but when i see u at the lights that where it ends
-
im only puting rb20 turbos on cause i already had one.
-
u guys this is maureis u talk shit u dont know the first thing about rx-7 i have a series 1 savana 13b turbo TO4 turbo which runs 26psi ran at drags 11.4 so keep dreaming about your cars
-
the reason im putting RB20 turbos on is that i already had one, and they are cheap, when it is all up and running and if its really laggy, ill might have to consider a RB30 bottom end. But anit these alot weaker than my bottom end. What type of internals would i have to put in, like pistons? chankshaft? gearbox??
-
troy its maureis u r a dreamer and u allways will be u and your fu**ed car ill see u at the drags on the third of august we will see if your skyline will beat the rx-7 u might as well stay in bunbury to save your self the embarrasment dreamer nufing but !!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i have a cermanic clutch, stock R32 GTSt gearbox, The ECU has had something done to it, dunno wat thou, has no boost cuts , or speedlimiters on it, will be running to stock R20 turbos
-
Very interesting, Do you think that i will need a bigger afm to support the larger airflow meter
-
OH NO, i hope not the late, it will be lag city, is there any mods i could do to help overcome the lag, cams??

Hi guys, After blowing a turbo gasket, I’m in the process of fitting 2 stock RB20 turbos to my Nissan Syline R32 GTSt. All the work is been done at a engineering firm in Bunbury WA where my dad works. We are making 2 separate manifolds one for each turbo. Front 3 exhaust outlets to one and the back 3 to the other turbo. There is going to be a balance pipe that goes between both manifolds to equalise pressure into both turbos. We see there is no need to have 2 wastegates so one will be blocked off. All water and oil lines are been ‘T’ . There will be 3” pipes coming off the back of the turbos converging into a 4” exhaust system. Air intake for the turbos will consist on the 1 pod filter, splitting into 2 pipes after the afm then to the turbos. The outlets for the turbos will converge into one tube entering the front mount intercooler then engine. This project is well underway, and if all goes well will be completed in a month. Before starting this project I had 200bhp running a stock turbo with 13psi, with the intercooler and a 3” exhaust. I have had it down the drag strip with a time of 13.7 @ 167km/h. I was interested if any one had any comments on how laggy it will be, the power output I might achieve, or any concerns about what im doing. All comments will be appreciated. thanks, Ewan.
