i took mine off and just smacked fibre glass over the hole sanded it back than voila shaved boot hehe it thought it pointless to have a key there when the lever is just as easy to use also dont have to worry about people trying to break into your boot, just an idea
-
you can eitha do what i did and cut out a section of the drift wing and put a brake light in there or just buy one that sticks to the back of your windscreen. what ever seems easier to you

might be a stupid question, but is it possible to modify the offset of a wheel safely or at all??
-
ive seen this r33 on youtube. its the one with gullwing doors. i wudnt say it looks hot, different but not hot. those wheels gotta go!! the front looks like a prelude with a veilside kit im thinking this kit was a one off
-
damn thats expensive for a small crack!! BLK33t referring to your comment no you cant not without modification anyway. oh and can someone enlighten me as to why my rear guards look dodgey??lol
-
lol nah mate its not the final coat just temporary, cause of the fact that im attempting this myself it still hasnt reached that stage yet theres still minor touch ups then prepping left to do which will take awile.also ive had to customise everything since they were made for gtr.which was a real head ache and thanks craved ill have to get a set of those to fix that gap, i could explain why the fronts dont look right but thats another story
-
geez a bit harsh considering i spend 2 hours a week working on it for 4 months not to mention im not an exprienced panel beater lineedup33 i got them imported from japan
-
i agree

heres a picture of mine. for some reason the front guards are strange.. the bottom of the guard where the side skirt meets it is narrower than the factory one and leaves quite a big gap behind the wheel. dont know if they were made that way intentionally??
-
dude imho spend the money and get decent guards i payed 500 a pair front and another 500 for the rear they were espensive but the quality was awesome.if you go cheap guards almost always the quality will be shyte, they were veilside combat r by the way on a r33

well they are slightly stretched as in you can grab the "lip" if you know what i mean?? and i didnt explain where the chips are popping up exactly. there actually around the 'inside' of the lip where a wider tyre would actually cover it. cant put pics up at the mo camera playing up. i dont know how im getting them.
-
hey fellas. i have a question: does any one run into trouble with there stretched tyres on there rimms. as in damage around the rimm of the mag?? reason i ask is cos ive had my my mags for 3 weeks and chips are popping up left right and centre and its pissing me off !! i have 10.5's with stretched 275/35/19's it only happens to the rear so far. has this happened to anyone else or is it to be expected with stretched tyres??
-
haha yea its an old pic. ive since bought new rimms now 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 +15 i think
-
i have this one on my car only the front is top secret modified and d-wing.
-
you wouldnt wana get it wrong, those series 2 headlights cost a pretty penny lol i might give it a go using series one headlights
-
i second that! go for it mate. dont forget pics
-
well i highly doubt ud beable to get thses to fit on standard guards they will sit 2 - 3 inches outside of the guard!! and dude that offset is ridiculous. also i looked into that option of 2nd hand rimms but the cost of getting them reconditioned and not to mention find new tyres for them out weighed the effortand just to add i wanted brand new, i may have to look into the offset of these rimms a bit closer cos what ur saying is totally different to what im seeing lol appreciate the feedback tho
-
nah mate i only need spacers for the back as iv measured it . the fronts look wrong because of the stock guard liner that i used.im goin to be ripping that off and making custom ones to fit properly as i made it cover the "vent" part on the inside.when i make them they wont be covered
-
well its been awile but i finally have them. 1. fronts fitted nice so wont be fitting spacers 2. rears werent wide enough obviously. but will only need 25mm spacers to look good. so all in all im wrapped with how they look now what colour to paint the car...
-
yea mate permanently bolted in that position. once you install it, it aint coming off. and nah installation is pretty straight forward.you will have to get the plate specially bent tho to fit it and replying to GUN_METAL_GTR32 some off us dont have a 58kg rottie let alone carry it around with you to guard your car lol

heres a link to the website http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-172120202.htm
-
well heres what it does..basically it attaches to your gear stick and stops any shifting therefore the thief will be un able to take it also works for autos. also the gearstck is locked in neutral to accomadate turbo timers. the guy i bought it from told me it is almost impossible to cut with hand held tools because it is actually bolted to your car with multi layered pressed steel plate
-
heres what ive done: *installed a 5star dynotron alarm (apparently one of the best in NZ) *removed the lock rods inside the doors so locks cant be tampered with from the inside i.e using a coat hanger to unlock door. *fibreglassed locks on the outside with resin. (no need to use it as i have a remote) *i also have a steering wheel lock (rein forced steel) and finally... *its called a onelus lock. it attatches to your gear stick as in the pic. as ive had a skyline stolen from me in the past i figured id make it more theft proof. try stealing this skyline M%!@# F^%$&^s!!
