  1. Mate NO ONE on this site is going to buy your plates im sorry to tell you. 18 grand for plates is f**king rediculous and im not saying that cos im jealous. I dont want personalised plates at all. I wouldnt even use personalised plates if you paid me. They attract unwanted attention. I understand some people like the and fair enough - go spend 400 on some if thats wat you like. But dont waste your time posting plates up on this site for that price.
  2. Like this one yeah? http://www.gruppe-s.com/Blitz/bz_dsbc_l.jpg
  3. I have a power fc tuned with the blow off valve off as the intake pipe im using at the moment doesnt have an inlet for the plumback. The car runs the same as with the stock ecu in (well for me anyway). It almost stalls when you press the clutch after being in gear at high revs etc. Its also a lot more jerky on gear changes. I have learned to deal with it but it deffinately is different the way the cars drives and ill be putting the bov back on as soon as i can be bothered to make up a new intake pipe.
  4. Would a car that is tuned with v-power run better on v-power and vice versa? Is that one reason why some people including myself see differences and some dont? My car was tuned just after filling up with mobil 8000 and now it runs better on mobil and bp. Dont get as many km's out of v-power or united etc etc.
  5. LOL united works fine. Although i dont get as many km's out of it and not sure if it affects power at all yet..
  6. Use mobil 8000. Just as good as BP ultimate i find
  7. Maybe people dont like the idea of posting seats...
  8. Its not the amp because that waits for a signal from the headunit to turn on
  9. Sorry dont know what i was thiking. Yeah that makes sense now. So when the car is off its still draining that much current? Probably headunit and clock and shit storing settings.
  10. Having no bov makes skylines run like crap! Its not worth it even if you like the sound which i dont.
  11. 32 with 33 engine and box if you can find one for sale..
  12. Would you be having a wasted spark setup with 3 coils or 1 for each cylinder? Lost of high power cars run the wasted spark setup but not really any point on most cars. Is it really that much cheaper?
  13. Positive lead where? If theres nothing between the lead and the battery then its impossible for it to lose that much right? Unless your measuring after the fuse box and something has been taped into there to source power.. Also is there anything else bolted on directly to your battery apart from the stock positive thick as hell wire and loom etc?
  14. Hey buddy, the front bar reo is short for reinforcement and it sits directly behind the front bumper and both supports the front bar and adds protection in front on accidents etc. Most people cut it up when installing front mount intercoolers to alow for bigger openings in the front bars, and more air flow to the intercooler. This is illegal but hard to prove as its hard to see in there and its not as obvious as the hole in the battery tray (but still illegal none the less). I myself did not need to cut the front bar reo at all to fit a front mount intercooler but i did however cut the battery tray . If you were to install the front mount intercooler so as you dont need to cut the front bar reo and fit your stealth cooler which im assuming is return flow then your car will still be 100% legal. Hope that helps and good luck with your search for more power..
  15. Do they hold you in as well as the genuine or you dont know cos it wasnt in the car?
  16. As someone has said above it could be an aftermarket set of relays for your headlights. Were they slightly brighter before you removed it? Did the low beams stay on when you turned your highbeams on? Relays will also remove the high flow of current from flowing through the headlight switch which can damage it and people have broken from the current always flowing through the switch. Now that its out of the car you should open it up to check out whats inside it and therefor working out what its purpose is..
  17. Where did you measure this 380mA from?
  18. Coilpack loom? Coilpack loom is just wiring, it will either work or it wont. Are you sure all of your coilpacks are actually firing. When the car is running, unplug each coilpack one by one and if the cars idle drops a bit then that cylinder is firing. It the revs stay exactly the same then somethings wrong and that cylinder isnt firing. Swap that coilpack with another cylinder and if it still doesnt fire in the same one then the coilpacks are fine but something else is still wrong. Just work through everything untill you find the problem. Igniter, Sparkplugs, AAC valve, AFM. Lots of things that it could be.
  19. Why did the roadworthy have the old licence plate on it? Wouldnt he copy down whats on the rego sticker?
  20. Thats awesome! So the guy at vicroads was right in saying that mine was ok. How much did it end up costing you for the engineers certificate?
  21. If you search you will find many other people have had this problem too. Try doing a hicas diagnostic check too just to make sure you computer thinks its working ok
  22. Yes but will fixing the hole really make the car roadworthy? Just all comes down to how picky the road worthy guy is. I have been defected 6 times now and everytime i have had a hole in the side of my battery with a "chrome" pipe going straight through it but never been defected for it. 4 of those times i got a roadworthy with the hole still there and passed each time. The other 2 times i didnt need a road worthy so i took it to burwood vicroads and some guy came out and checked the whole car over and was extremely picky (he even checked things i wasnt defected for in the first place and took photos of the whole car). But he let me leave with a whole in the battery tray because its infront of the chassis rails and not "structual". Heaps of guys out there have holes in the battery tray and have never been done for it. If you want to get the hole fixed and buy a return flow cooler im not gonna try and talk you out of it. Its the smart idea. Its just luck of the draw what cop you get and what mood he's in. Oops just saw the last post lol. How much did it cost to get engineered? And was he just engineering the hole being fixed up?
  23. No worries. Do you suspect your afm is dying?
  24. You adjust the springs to get the right stiffness and handling, then adjust the base height to change the height of the car.
