If you guys can find someone to road worthy your car after getting defected even though you have a cooler pipe going under your battery tray. Get the roadworthy and take it to camberwell vicroads. They dont have an inspection bay so they will take the road worthy (even if you didnt need to get one in the first place) and clear the defect without ever looking at the car. Just another option, i have done this 3 times now. Some times its easier not to get a roadworthy but sometimes it is. Depends on what you get defected for and how easy going your mechanic is.

Do you have a cat? After i took my cat out the boost went from holding perfectly at 12psi to creaping over 14 and thats with one of the best boost controllers you can get. But after playing round with the gain setting its all good again. So my advice is to get a good model EBC and set it up right.

Mate before any of that you are going to have to upgrade your gearbox before you blow 3rd gear. RB20 boxes always seem to blow when behind rb25's

You did the rears youself so you can do the fronts yourself.. You can get spacers in the for sale section or new from a trader such as isc above.

Well your wiring is obviously NOT fine. Could be a dirty plug, could be loose wires. You can use multimeter to trace back to the point where the fault is occuring if you have one.

Put the numbers on it into google and see what comes up..

Yeah get spacers. Wheels wont have enough offset. You will probably need to roll the guards if you havent already

Souldnt be any obvious signs from those compression readings although you could be making more power if they were all 150 but mot by much. Lost of peoples cyl 5 and 6 lose compression when they have front facing aftermarket plenums as they are deprived of air. Is your intake plenum stock? Also if your missfiring is really bad and has been there for ages on the same cylinder could it have caused the low compression?

I can help but im in melbourne. Its not that hard if you have tools and dont mind having a crack yourself. Otherwise there should be plenty of workshops in sydney that will be happy to do it. Who said they werent keen on it?

I have a plug if you need one, let me know. Also the z32 will have a flange on the end of it with 4 holes. If your pod has that same 4 stup pattern on the base of it then it will bolt straight up. If its the type of pod that just has a 3 inch round output or watever then thats when you need to get an adapter.

Is the hole going downwards through the top of the battery tray or into the side underneath it? I know they are both defectable but the one in the side is less noticeable..

Yeah that smashing the rear light thing is from a movie. Cant remember what one though lol. I have had all too many cops do u-turns coming after me. Park quick smart and run into the shops lol. I had one do a u-turn one time and a ducked into maccas and ran inside to order something and sat down. They parked behind my car, waited for 10 mins then reversed a little bit so i couldnt see them (but i still could) and waited there for 10mins. Then they parked and came straight up to me. Licence photo maybe? They said is that ur car, are you andrew blah blah. They cant do anything if your not in the car.
