Make one like i did. Buy the clips from jaycar (they are the perfect size) and make a positive wire going to each coil and a negative wire going to each coil. Then do the fire signal to each coil. Make sure u know which color is for each cylinder coming from the ecu. I can show u a pic later if you want. Good luck with it! Beats paying for a new one.

Up to you. I know that my missfire is electrical so getting splitfires will fix it. If your coilpacks are going ok then getting splitfires wont help much. U can usually feel if its because somethings dirty and cloged up like injectors or sparkplugs compared to when the coilpacks are not producing a strong enough spark. Maybe try cleaning the injectors first as its cheaper and cant hurt. Otherwise you could take it to a tuner and get their opinion of what they think is the problem. Hope that helps

It off an r33. RB alternators are supposed to fit all rb engines. I know they fit rb20's and r34 rb25's. Not 100% sure about the rb26 though but i dont see why it would be any different. Your welcome to try and if it doesnt fit ill return the payment.

Is it missfiring? If so, its a very common problem. Usually because of a leak somewhere or an electrical problem. Check your cooler piping and vacuum lines. Then check coilpacks and sparkplugs. Most likely to be one of those things.

Just something to think about, if its taking the shine off your piping, then if you remove it wont it scratch your piping instead?

Haha glad to see this thread is helping lots of people with missfire problems. All you guys who have bout splitfires and fixed the missfire problem, are you running sparkplugs with a 0.8mm gap or the stock 1.1mm gap?
